iOS 27 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

this release is very stable but the only bugs i experienced in the last few betas are still there so while I'm sure there are a lot of fixes, but also a few to go. Mine are find my, all items showing as "address unavailable", autocorrect randomly stops working, icons disappearing in spotlight.

I fell asleep with my iPhone in bed with me, but I woke up with airplane mode on. That has never happened before. Anyone notice something similar?

I really like the darker iOS 27 icons, but it seems like with this build the dark mode icons on the home screen are a little bit grayer. Anyone else noticing that?

In the other way, it seems like dark mode widgets (at least the ones that have been updated for iOS 27) are darker now, which makes the slightly lighter icons more noticeable.

Safari is reloading way more frequently. I’m not having a total reload every time but it’s happening way more often than on DB3.

Same since beta 1 and got worst!!

Did anyone in the UK do the update last night then all of a sudden get o2 5G+ (SA) I don’t know if it’s related to beta4 or a huge coincidence that o2 activated SA in my area last night

Maybe I never noticed it, but now when I play a video on mute that I recorded, Siri AI puts captions automatically. I have to turn it off each time. Annoying. I haven't looked on where to turn it off permanently.

That's been a thing for awhile. Subtitles will appear either when you mute, or when you jump back you'll see subtitles until the point when you jumped back.

iPhone Air - Phone
Tried copying and pasting the transcription of a couple of scam phone calls into Hiya and another site in Safari.
I was able to copy but the OS would not allow me to paste. I was able to paste into Notes, copy the text in Notes, and then paste into Hiya and a Safari site.

Not sure what the issue was but tried it again this morning and had the same issue.
Did not try this in B3 however it worked just fine in B2.

I’m having a hard time seeing a difference.

Top is an earlier 27.0 build, bottom is DB4.

So far, idle battery life on the 17 Pro is improved noticeably over beta 3.

I hate this bug. I turn off Siri suggestion but it still shows up. I noticed that some people have these settings off and it works. Siri suggestion won’t shows up. But most people still have

It’s pretty hefty how big the OS itself (with the AI data) got over the past years. More than 60 Gb on my phone.

I actually liked how it turned out. I've submitted a report through the feedback app suggesting they could turn this bug into a feature. Apple probably has few bugs this useful haha

I did! (based in East London)

I did a quick search online and couldn't find anything about 5G+ coming online in my area yesterday, so I guess this was due to something being switched on on the iOS side with the new beta?

Yeah, it may just be that the first-party widgets (previously lighter than the newly darker icons) are now darker than the icons.

I think it looked off together with the Liquid Glass animation.

Did you had the DB3 installed before or is the DB4 you start with iOS 27?
