For me this Beta 7 is quite good, i only encounter two issues:

a) Cant turn on Passcode after "5 minutes" - it's set to "immediately" now and i can't revert it. Even resetting Face-ID doesnt't help - it's always set to "immediately" unless i disable Face-ID completely. That was working otherwise in iOS18.[

This has always been the case when FaceID is enabled, at least for me on all phones and OS versions.

I’m not sure if it’s due to Siri optimizing, but Beta 4 and 5 Siri seemed far more accurate on simple tasks while texting, calling and CarPlay.

With iOS 26, the glass’s light effect shifted as I moved my 15 Pro Max, particularly near the home bar and widgets. Under iOS 27, the appearance is now solid rather than dynamic.

And no: I don’t use reduce motion or reduce transparency
It’s been like this since iOS27 Beta 1. At first I thought they had temporally removed it. But at this point it seems like it’s a permanent change. I hope they will bring it back.

iPhone Air iOS 27 B7

Good stuff
- App Manager has toned down a good bit on its aggressiveness.
- Mail badges and Notifications seem to be working with no errors
- Random APP3 disconnect seems to be gone
- responsiveness seems to be improved
-

Bad stuff
- my Blocked calls are showing up in Recents including everything from the prior week 😳
- Hiya lookup screen is black. This issued showed up in B5, fixed in B6, broke n again in B7
- iMessage RCS shows encrypted sending to my Android devices however all the Android devices show the message in not encrypted. This is with both Google Messages and Samsung Messages.
- Photos sent from the Air to Android arrive with a degradation in photo quality (jpg). Photos sent to the Air from Android arrive unchanged.
- Still seeing issues with some shortcuts and automations
- keyboard clicks in iMessage disappear when I go to the emoji pick and stay gone till I close and reopen Messages
- swiping from bottom to go to the 1st home page will stop working and requires an off/on to restore functionality
- (iPad Pro 11) found this just now - select an emoji from the keyboard emoji popup fails to insert in the post.
-

More to come.

Is anyone else seeing a Managed Device location toggle, even though the device has never been managed? I reported it as a bug, but I haven’t seen anyone else mentioning it.

How long does it take for the optimization and search to be done after updating to iOS 27. Mine's still running and it's been like 22 hrs? I thought iOS 26.6 was meant to prepare for this lol.

Whilst my iPhone 16pro has had a speed boost and is ultra smooth, my iPad Pro m5 has taken a step backwards. Getting micro stutters all over the place. Have performed a hard reset, etc.

As a software developer that explanation is worrying. Compilation is deterministic - you feed the same source into the same compiler and you should get identical output. If they have to compile multiple times to get it working then they have big problems. There must be more to it than that.
I'm assuming that when the build fails, they find the problem, fix it, run it again, and increment the letter.
