iOS 27 Beta 7 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

With iOS 26, the glass’s light effect shifted as I moved my 15 Pro Max, particularly near the home bar and widgets. Under iOS 27, the appearance is now solid rather than dynamic.

And no: I don’t use reduce motion or reduce transparency
 
Too early to be judging battery life, my Air doesn’t seem to be draining much if any quicker than beta 6.
Indexing message still there so it’ll improve after that?
 
Anyone else seeing this on iPhone 16e (Beta 7)? It didn't happen in Beta 6. It only occurs when I open the WiFi list from Control Center, swipe home, and return to the WiFi list. A circle pops up briefly.

Already reported.

 
I share Activity from my Apple Watch with my wife. When someone completes let's say a workout a notification is sent to the other's Watch and you can reply to that. Now when viewing these messages on my 17 PM with iOS 27 Beta 7 scrolling is extremely stuttery. Anyone experienced this?
 
For me this Beta 7 is quite good, i only encounter two issues:

a) Cant turn on Passcode after "5 minutes" - it's set to "immediately" now and i can't revert it. Even resetting Face-ID doesnt't help - it's always set to "immediately" unless i disable Face-ID completely. That was working otherwise in iOS18.

b) Connection Assist (WiFi-Assist) turns back on when i restart my device. I turn it off in the General WiFi Settings, after a restart it's back on- also same goes for every WiFi Network where i disabled it. This at least destroys some of my conifgurations like adblocker on the device, because this option seems to bypass it.
 
Does anyone use the Moon Phase within the Weather Widget? I’ve been reporting a bug for the last four years wherein the glyph being displayed is sometimes incorrect.

For example, a waxing crescent should be 🌒 but it’s displayed as 🌘. The same goes for a waning crescent where it should be 🌘 but it’s displayed as 🌒. The same goes for both full and new moons as 🌑 instead of 🌕.

I know this seems trivial but is been a real annoyance. 😒

Can someone try it for a day or two and report it? Here are all the bugs I’ve submitted.

Noticed today that the Announce Messages setting in CarPlay does not stick. I set it, but when a text comes in, Siri does not read it to me. I go check the Settings app (CarPlay) and the toggle is OFF again. I think I first saw that in B6, but it's still happening.
