explain this... You are saying your top image is the 5.1, and the bottom is the 5.0.1? If the bottom image is your old OS, it still has 32% on it. Even though it shows less standby/usage time, it's got some 20% of battery left to go, vs. the 7% left on the new OS? Am I reading into this right?

Referencing way back to your comments and my screen shots on post #48.

No, both screen shots are from iOS 5.1. Bottom line, just posted two shots to show it wasn't just a one day thing.

I just returned from a week long trip to NYC where I was up at 6am and not back until well after midnight and it still had plenty of power. Maybe once I got it down to single digits.

I don't notice anything unusual with my iPad 3 but then again I don't have another point of reference to compare to since it comes with iOS 5.1. However my iPhone 4S is still on 5.0.1 since it's JB.

Isn't 5.1 supposed to address battery issues?

Battery life after I upgraded to 5.1 was TERRIBLE until a restarted my phone (held power and home button) and completely calibrated my battery - one of those solutions (or both) seemed to bring it back to the slightly more than 1 day of my usage that i got with 5.0. Straight after upgrading i'd get to 3/4pm and need a recharge!

I had poor battery performance with 5.1 until I temporarily disabled my Exchange server sync. I turned "Off" the email, calendar, contacts, and reminders for a few minutes. I then turned them all back on and did a hard restart.

Since then, my battery has been the same as pre 5.1

I recently bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4 and upgraded to iOS 5.1. I have never had an iPhone go this long on a single battery charge.
