So I saw the update available... I paused to make sure all my purchases were transfered and my iphone was backed up. Then went to update and now it says my phone is up to date 4.3.5 ??? HUH WTF?!

Same here. I wonder if they temporarily disabled the update on their servers until traffic goes down.

ROFL. 29 hours left on the Lion update. RIP Apple's update servers.

I have the iOS 5 beta 7 and when I plug it in and click check for update, this pops up.

Please respond.

Went live at 18:00 here in the UK (13:00 EST), I'm downloading for my iPhone 4 at present, hope the system doesn't get long-jammed before I can update the iPad 2.

anybody who updated to the GM before it came out did you find you had to restore again to get things working 100%?

I am unsure of whether this is an itunes server error (feature not active yet) or if it is my own fault, but the "check for softwre update" comes back with an error. Any ideas?

Will I lose all of music and apps if I update to 5.0 on a different computer?

That's what it looks like (although I may just do it anyway to start fresh).

yes your music will not transfer over to the new computer unless it is all itunes purchased and you transfer purchases over, otherwise you will have to sync back to the other computer or transfer files over to the new computer.
