They seem to be killing it on older devices to improve the performance.

I see..Ps

Love the bug...Where did u get it..;)

----------

The translucent is still there, but there is no blur. It should still be there on the iPhone 5, at least, not sure about devices below that. The effects have probably been disabled to save on the CPU, as they've also been disabled on the iPad Mini. For what it's worth, i didn't see any slow down on my iPad 3 when the effects were still active, so this smells like a way to sell more iPad 4/5s to me.

Cool.. So it still there on newer devices!

Panorama wallpaper effect on iPhone 5 in beta 5 doesn't work anymore. It might just be a bug or apple killed it.

iPad 3 no longer has the blur for Control Centre and the Notification Centre colour seems to have been tweaked. Looks significantly worse in my opinion.

lol - that is the color scheme for the iPhone 4. Gray control center, non-blurred notification center. Apple says blurred layers will not be coming to the iPhone 4, presumably because of hardware limitations (which is a completely misleading lie). Maybe they're saying the same for the iPad 3 now?

This really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It's one thing to pretend the iPhone 4 can't run features such as Siri, but to say it is incapable of handling blurred layers without a hit in CPU performance is a lie. And it insults my intelligence. Don't like it, Apple.

In the contacts App the birthdays are wrong. All are 1 Day too early (2nd August instead of 3rd)

In the calendar the dates are ok.

You checked the increase contrast option hasn't been enabled? As that happened to peeps before.

Don't understand your question, sorry.

Keyboard blur effect has been removed on iPad Mini :mad:I hope it to be back in next release...

The blur effect hasn't been removed. Check the Increase Contrast option in Accessibility. 'On' means no transparency.

Yes, it has.

This is on my iPad 3. Enhance contrast is turned off. No blur effects in CC, NC or Safari.

Maybe it's ****ing beta? Stop whining about this ****. It will be transparent and blurred in the final release.

Hm. Maybe it's just buggy. Have you tried toggling the setting?

No luck. Personally I never liked it so I'm glad it's gone.

From a developer's perspective, it emphasises the fact that Apple make developers do the blur manually. If you have an iPhone 4, you won't see any blurs in system Apps but you still will in 3rd party Apps, even with enhanced contrast mode activated (since there's no API to detect that, either).

Half-baked is what I'd call iOS7 (and the API itself is pretty much fixed at this point).

Increase contrast in Accessibilities and you can get a solid black keyboard in some places (light grey keyboard in other places).
