That's also in iOS 6. Just double checked my iPad which is still on 6.1.3 and I thought when I read your post that I had done that twisty thing before. It would be a really cool feature if it would stop in the position you left it, as when wanting to show someone a photo who is sitting opposite from you.

Looks like when adjusting the volume while playing videos you no longer get the annoying volume pop up blocking the entire screen.
still happens. i just don't think this happens through apple apps like videos and mail, but annoyingly happens everywhere else.
come on apple. can't you let us adjust the damn volume without blurring a huge chunk in the middle of the screen?
...this sounds like the recent 'update' to the YouTube app on iOS whereby now, when you are watching a video and you want to make a comment, a white box slides right over the video, blocking the view, and you enter your comment to get rid of the white box (unlike before where your comments would be made underneath the video so wouldn't actually block the view)?!?

I read the OP but couldn't find it. Pretty obvious (sorry if it's old news) for all non-iPhone-5s users:
In iOS versions before iOS 7 you had to "slide to unlock" exactly where the writing (the slider switch) was. Since iOS 7 you can slide where you want on the lockscreen (from the left to the right) what's a great relief especially on the normal size iPad.
And in the German-language iOS 7 Apple changed the skeuomophic switch with "Entsperren" ("unlock") to the clean "> Zum Entsperren streichen". ("Slide/swipe to unlock".) In the English iOS (former: iPhone OS) it was always "slide to unlock", wasn't it?

Both are nothing new and have been known since the betas (the first one since b1).
Nope, just tested it out on my iPhone and still works completely. Actually, it's seems to me that it works faster.

Actually, being able to pinch the photo to go back the the album is new for iPhone in iOS 7, but, older than iOS 6 for iPad. (finally! I got so used to this with my iPad that I kept trying to do it with my iPhone to no avail, now it works!)
Actually, that was not a false alarm, this is what happens now (7.0.4): when the top & bottom bars are showing (I think only w/apple video & podcast apps), the volume buttons move the slider. When the top & bottom bars go away, then that annoying box comes up when you press the buttons.

Not really fun when you are playing Subway Surfer you have to readjust the volume and you can't see the screen and lose JUST WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT TO BEAT YOUR SCORE

It's just that, now that iOS 7 is public, 7.0.4 just released last week, and there is a 7.1 beta, it could get confusing to differentiate between what these little things are w/7.0.4 or 7.1 beta. oh well.I'm confused. iOS 7: All the Little things was meant to talk about all the little things. Of course when it was released publicly there wasn't much to talk about since every thing was covered during the beta program. I did say I was going to continue posting little things each time a update (or Beta) was released.
Still debating on whether or not to come back and do an iOS 8: All The Little Things! thread when iOS 8 Beta is released. Apparently many people really liked they way I kept a list of changes and little things in iOS 7 compared to past threads.
