No vibrate alert while phone is locked and silenced. I also don't see the vibration pattern selection under sounds in the menu unless I'm missing it entirely?

Someones prob mentioned this but messages doesn't seem to auto scroll when you message

And Ive had a couple minor visual glitches so far

small bug, but when you're making an alarm in Clocks, and you want to select a song from your Music app, it just goes back to the normal list of ringtones.

While on my lunch break I played around with a few apps.

- Find my iphone seems to crash when you launch the map
- Tower Madness crashes on launch

Instagram works for the most part on my 5, but if you scroll past a picture then scroll back up the picture becomes grey.

hrmm wasn't able to play my music in my car via bluetooth or via cable. :(

Try restoring, bluetooth is working for me. Had trouble adding all my music yesterday so i restored this morning and so far everything is syncing the right way. Happened with iOS 6 Beta 1 too.

Mine I just had to re-pair my device over bluetooth then all was well.

Discovered a really bad bug for me anyway. None of the buttons such as "private session" or anything work on Spotify. I had to reinstall the app cause it was on offline mode and couldn't be changed. Very disappointed in this.

Edit: Nevermind, I finally got it to work! Sigh of relief. I use this app all the time.

This may have already been said, but you can't delete apps that are currently downloading. Unlucky for me, Vice City started before I could delete it - 1.3GB. Ouch.

has anyone else experienced that the phone (iPhone 5) was heating up like hell? ... downgraded because of that

Mine quickly get very very hot compared to when on 6.1.4, both when charging and when just briefly checking the phone.

(iPhone 5 clean restore and no backups used)

4S 32GB;

- When i turn imessage on at settings, the toggle don't switch, when i force it to switch settings.app crashes. (hence imessage doesn't work)
-There's no clock at notification center at lock screen.
-Some native apps window don't load properly.
-It's laggy in general
-Charges way slower and drains quick.
-Parallex is awesome
-Apps like whatsapp and facebook work but give me errors like: "Connect to itunes to get push notifications) even though it is.
-I love the collections feature of photos app, just what i needed. However i didn't like that the places look went away.
-White borders of photos.app are not good.
-In general there are too much whites. With white wallpaper you can't read info on lock screen. Menus are too white, at music app you can't distinguish letters or albums because they are not distinguished, too much buried in white.
-Features are great but being at beta 1, everything from design to features needs a long long way. Design needs more more more polishing.

these are my opinions, coming from a non-dev guy who just took a look at it for 4-5 hours without udid registration. Now I'm going back to iOS 6. See you at Fall iOS 7. :)

After restoring the iCloud backup, it kept prompting me for the following password:

Code:

Anyone seen this before? Related Apple posting here.

Recent list in Phone app

it is cropping the recent 2 calls in the Recent list..i have to pull down to see the latest calls in the recent call list...anybody observed it? i am using iPhone 5

Apps are hanging with the autoupdate feature. Shows waiting but cannot force download or delete even with restart.

Weather.com does not work.

Also the red notification icon shifts over the app icon as you open the folder it is contained in. Once you notice it, you will go insane.

Visual Voicemail dates and length of call displays are overlapped

Thats all for now.

Dumb question: Does running a beta that doesn't have good battery performance affect your actual battery in any way?

To my knowledge the draining of it shouldn't matter. It's how many charge cycles you do on your battery. The more cycles, the less life your battery has. But it's not inherently bad for the phone if you charge as often as you had prior to the update.
