Yup. Going to change my Apple passwords.

On another note: Can people log into Twitter in Settings?

EDIT: Turned off two-factor and it works.

This was an issue with me restoring to an icloud backup during a beta. iCloud seems to get confused. No worries though, after having to erase and put in your info again, it works finally. Its annoying as heck though!

Dumb question: Does running a beta that doesn't have good battery performance affect your actual battery in any way?

It'll stress your battery so your phone will have a shorter life, however, since you're probably upgrading every 2 years anyways, it's probably not an issue.

Bug or feature?: When opening a folder while in wiggle mode, the folder background wiggles then glitches to stop.

Bug: Taking too many screen shots too quickly causes springboard to crash.

Bug: Opening apps sometimes causes the status bar to double up making it unreadable for a short time till the app loads.

Bug: The status bar items on the emergency call screen is basically unreadable.

Bug: The screen doesn't fade off when it's just idle like it does when you turn it on/off with the power butotn.

Yes. Although I'm still figuring out the particulars for sure. I think DFU mode and restore will do it, Apple is still signing 6.1.3. My iTunes is now downloading 6.1.3, will post later with results.

DFU and regular restore (no option-click or anything needed) worked just fine. My 4S started up fine after re-installing 6.1.3, now restoring from backup.

Looking forward to future beta's. Little beta issues were too much for me for now- some crashing apps, some lagginess, hanging auto-updated apps, etc.

I'd like the UI to be refined somewhat over the next few betas. App and Folder label text should be outlined/embossed for better readability, I would also like folder color to match the background, as when you open a folder. I like the parallax effect but I think it could be smoother. There seem to be more animations (which I think are generally attractive), but they are somewhat laggy on my 4S which hurts first impressions. I really like the new app switcher, but it's slow to bring up right now.

I think a bunch of little refinements like that will go a long way to winning people over by the actual iOS 7 release.

The iOS 7 Messaging app will not start. It opens up, stays grey for maybe half a second and then crashes.

I've tried everything - except for restoring the iPhone 5.

Any clues, anyone?

To my knowledge the draining of it shouldn't matter. It's how many charge cycles you do on your battery. The more cycles, the less life your battery has. But it's not inherently bad for the phone if you charge as often as you had prior to the update.

So if I were to go back to iOS 6, I'm not gonna see worse battery life because the beta stressed the battery?

To my knowledge, no you should not. But as always, your mileage may vary, I'm just saying from my experiences it should not cause an issue.

Anybody else in the UK have auto detected time an hour behind. We are obviously currently BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT+1. But manually changing my time causes both Twitter/Instagram apps to be out of sync and any immediate posts listed at 1hr ago.

Though my partner doesn't have the same glitch as me from same download file.

:S

Any workaround? Anyone else experiencing same problem?

Has anyone else noticed the email preview is messed up? I get a lot of emails from eBay which always used to display the title of the email in the preview, now however I get the first couple of lines of text from the main body of the email. Therefore I cannot tell what the general gist of an email is from the preview alone. Has anyone found an option to change the preview to display the title of an email?

My iPhone 5 is stuck at the Apple icon with a quarter bar after it successfully finishes the "update and verifying with apple" and the "restoring the iphone" steps. iTunes tells me to "keep your iphone connected" but after rebooting, the iphone is stuck on Apple icon with a bar that moves to a quarter-position but stops. I have waited for half hour and it still hasn't moved yet.

iTunes now shows it's connected but pressing "sync" just gets the spinning for a few minutes and then getting message "iTunes sync session cannot start"

I thought it was a problem from 6.12 jailbreak direct update, but updating from a clean 6.14 has the same problem too. Any ideas?

phone is taking long time to charge... I have it plugged in since 9am pst and batter was at 30%... now its 12:30 and up to 77%

Music app

All of my songs with lyrics in Japanese are now displaying unicode and the lyrics takes a while to load.
Everything worked perfectly in iOS6 so it is definitely not an encoding error.

I can't find star ratings on my songs. Can anyone else? I use this to determine if I keep a song or not lol.

Also it was hiccuping when I was attaching photos to a message on iPhone 5.

Also when lsitening to music sometimes it was not changing the art picture. Or would show the playback buttons over top of the time on the lock screen.

Other then that working good. If anyone knows how to see the star rating of songs on the phone that would be great.

Thanks.

Two more things I've noticed this afternoon:
  • Reminders do not work at all. I had two reminders set for 2:30 pm, and neither came up. Not in the Notification Center, not as an alert, no sound, nothing. And yes the settings are correct.
  • The Notification Center does not adhere to the order you've set in Settings. I have Messages placed higher than Gmail, and I've been receiving my Gmail notifications just fine. Then a friend just sent me a text message, and it showed up at the very bottom of my Notification Center. I usually like my Messages to be at the very top. [UPDATE] Well I just got another text (after rearranging the order in Settings, but still keeping them the same) and now my Messages are at the top. Maybe it just didn't register until I actually made a change.
I will report both of these bugs on the dev site. Just thought I'd bring them up here too though.

Did you do a clean install & upgrade or simply upgraded? I'm on a 4S and haven't been having any major issues.

Any word on the Google Voice app? I use that nonstop.

Google voice (at least text functions) seem to be working fine over here. Haven't received any voicemails yet so I don't know about that.

On a separate note, am I the only one experiencing bad battery drain? Used to lose only 1-2 percent each overnight. Now it's 14 percent.

iMessages also does not scroll to the bottom of the text list when you send a new text. The animation looks choppy and it stays at the previous message received.

Lots of false positives when pulling down to search phone, or with the swipe back feature.

Quite a number of bugs with animations throughout.

eBay and some other apps freeze on me.

Not sure if this has been posted but when I share a photo from the photo.app to twitter, it goes to a black screen and I have to kill the app.
