iOS 7 Beta 1: Bugs and Problems

Sorry in advance if this has been mentioned already. If you open safari, highlight a word, and click define you will find yourself stuck on the definition page. You have to close safari from the multitasking screen to fix it.

Has anyone been able to use reminders? It just crashes every time i try to save something.
 
  • entering a passcode quickly: the buttons flash, but no entry is heard
  • when unlocked, an immediate swipe has no effect
  • as soon as a folder is open, an immediate tap has no effect
  • everything else everyone has said
 
The keyboard shortcuts do not work. Someone else might have already posted this. To many pages to look at. I am also getting 2 instead of 1 notification for apps like Instagram and words with friends.

Facebook, mail and wordfeud also do it.
 
i might be the only one, but my imessage is messed up.

a lot of times i'm texting someone (happens with a lot of contacts on iMessage), and when i hit it send it appears in blue and says delivered.
Although the text was never sent, and the receiver doesnt get anything.

Any ideas?

update

anyone else having problems updating apps on beta 1 i click update all and nothing happens.......i tried doing them individually and it still wont work
 
In settings when you go into the wallpaper section, the little preview of the lock screen is still showing the pre iOS 7 screen. I thought that was pretty funny!

Just tried messing with that, and it appears that you have to cover the whole screen with the flick motion and do so pretty quickly to get it to work everytime. Could use some work.
 
Cool...just discovered by accident that you can zoom while taking videos!

Also you can tap-to-focus as well, although that took a few taps to get it to shift focus.
 
Just tried closing three apps at once in the multitasking switcher (like I've done before without an issue) and I got a respring.
 
Emails in "All Inboxes" that have No Sender, No content and dated 1/01/01.
Shows only in All Inboxes but not in any particular inbox. And can't be deleted.

Um. Focus has been in iOS 6. And zoom while taking videos is feature. Neither of these are Bugs or Problems.
 
4s on beta 1 applied as an update. When i double tap home and multitasking cards show up, I can switch to different apps (albeit slowly). But if i try to close an app by sliding the card up or down, the card makes it half way up ordown the screen, then freezes, and my iphone restarts and i see the apple boot logo.

I turned off Passbook on iOS 6 to stop that from happening, purely to save a bit on battery life.

To test this yourself, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. You'll see triangles next to apps that have used the LS within the last day in gray, you'll see purple icons next to the ones that have most recently used it.

Now lock the screen, then unlock. Check Passbook, it should be purple.

weird i don't have passbook as an option.
 
I upgraded my 4S last night, and all went well, and seems to be working ok.

But this morning I had 250 emails; upon checking they are in fact all very old emails, up to 2 years old, that the phone had for some reason decided to download en masse from the IMAP server.

The inbox has over 300 mails in it; previously there would only be a few before it giving me the option to download more from server.

The font for the email list seems to be larger too, resulting on only 5 showing on one screen.

Few issues after 3 days of use:

  • Randomly resprings - Got this happening once a day, usually around 12 at night. Not sure why.
  • Couldn't receive texts - Rebooted the phone then got a notification asking me to accept EE (My network operator)'s certificate.
