Not a bug per se, but I hope Apple returns to completely full screen browsing in landscape orientation or makes the top bar more transparent which it was in the iOS 7 promo video. Loosing this small space does affect the experience compared to the complete use of the screen in iOS 6.

Is anyone's "Coverflow 2.0" working correctly? Since day one hardly any of the album art shows when in landscape; only placeholders show for most.

IMHO this thread suggests there are FAR too many non-devs, hobbyshoppers and lookieloos installing a first-rev beta on their everyday phone. Dumb.

I didn't realise how far we had gotten under your skin, we know the risks, we pay the fee, not much else to say really

Two new bugs I found:

Removing an iCloud account is impossible unless you manually turn off every sync option one by one then remove it, otherwise you get stuck at where I was in this screenshot, you're supposed to be allowed to press "Delete from My iPhone" but it just freezes the entire Settings app until you force close it.

Another bug I see frequently in Alien Blue is this weird stretching of posts, sometimes the list of posts is just blank as well. More likely it's a change in an API in iOS 7 that hasn't been updated yet in this app.

iMessage isn't working. Still waiting for activation. Tried resetting netword settings, wifi on and off. All of that. Nothing :(

It's a beta. This shouldn't be surprising at all.

Or more specifically, it's Beta 1! Early builds are never optimized for performance & battery because there's simply too much code changing. As we move closer to the release candidate builds (probably later this summer if the cycle is the same as iOS 5 & 6), we'll see a big jump in battery & speed. Until then, grit it out.

i agree with you 100%

Yeah same for me, the odd 1 or 2 show.. I wasnt sure if this maybe had something todo with manually added artwork but ive checked purchased content on my iPhone and thats still missing in the coverflow

We all know the Podcasts app doesn't work with this beta, but I found a workaround for anyone who relies on podcasts to get through the day.

Soundhound. It has a music player built in, and can access the Podcasts library.

I'm sure there are tons of other music apps out there too, but I'm guessing more people have Soundhound or Shazam than these other ones.

I've encountered an issue with making or receiving calls. I'm on the iPhone 4S (8 GB - AT&T). Every time I make or receive a call, if I put the iPhone to my ear, the iPhone reboots. If I just answer using speaker or headset it is fine. I've rebooted the iPhone, powered off for a while. Still does it.

You swipe to answer, put the iPhone to ear and look back at it to see the Apple symbol as it reboots. Real PIA for someone trying to make/receive calls. Good thing I use a headset most of the time.

Spotlight also can find the podcasts. So if you search for Fresh Air for example you can play from the search and then click the list/album view that will give you the other episodes you have synced over.

Today Stream Calendar Shows Wong Day

I don't know if ther's a setting I'm missing somewhere but the calendar that shows in the "Today Stream" in the "Notification Center" is a day slow. Is anyone else having this problem?

Do you happen to have Siri set to turn on when the phone is to the ear? If so, try turning that off and see if that helps. I haven't had that problem, but the Siri setting came to mind with your description. A shot in the beta dark.

problems on IOS7 with iphone 5 a1429

i have found the following problems

moving icons around or into folders caused the phone to reset (only for the first hour then problem fixed it's self)

AUDIO - music or off web the audio only comes though left channel, right channel no sound or completely distorted, this is the case with both wired headphones and bluetooth headphones.

many menus are over lapping, for instance logging out of Facebook the sign out will be covered by another menu

Wifi drops every so often minutes

setting background can freeze the phone
