I'm getting the parallax effect on the lock screen with a static wallpaper. I'm not sure if this is new as I've had an animated wallpaper for a few weeks.

Using Beta 4 on an iPad 3

I find the '-' indicator of control/notification center odd compared to the '^' 'V'. Especially at the home screen as it blends in with the background more. Then when you're actually in either of them, it reverts back to the '^' 'V'.

Has anyone else noticed parallax on the lock screen wallpaper? Don't recall that previously and I don't see an option to turn it off on just the lock screen (have the animated wallpaper on the home screen). iPad still crashes if you change wallpaper more than once.

In Safari was there always an iCloud button between bookmarks and new tabs? I don't recall this being there previously, but it very well may have and I just didn't notice. Wish you could remove that option as I never use it.

Don't recall this before, but in the clock app under world clock, it also lists the temperature and weather conditions (rain, sun, clouds, etc) on the map of the city. That's really cool. In the timer part of the clock app I also like how the numbers are slightly magnified when they're selected. It's subtle, but noticeable.

Someone else reported that messages default to First name, Last initial, but mine are still showing full names and I'm not seeing an option to change this. I prefer first name and last name, but not the middle name and/or nickname. iOS6 would have first name/last name, not nickname or middle name (I prefer the former). You should be able to define how you see that person's name.

Fonts appear normal size in apps such as Pulse, CNN, and ebay vs tiny like they were in Beta 3 although eBay still crashes.

Syncing still doesn't work. Gets hung up at step 6 (applying changes). iTunes also shows my 32GB iPad has 18gb remaining although I'm using about 22gb, so that's off too.

you have to press hard, yes shocking, but press hard when using the twitter app and itll recognize the press right away, well thats what i realized

Not harder, just half a sec longer.

Disagree with this

Disagree with you.

Parallax & safari been like that since beta 1.

As for first name and last initial, along with nicknames, check the short name menu in settings -> mail.

It's always been there. You cannot turn it off for the lock screen only. It's either on or off completely. iPhone no longer crashes when you change the wallpaper.

Colours for main roads in Maps for the UK are now the normal UK colours.

did they fix that thing where you move an app and it hovers over a bunch of others and gets permanently stuck there?

and you delete the app out of fear of bricking the phone?

When it happened to me I just reset my phone, no fear of bricking. It seems to have been fixed

Yup which is great, tho I saw someone complaint they aren't red like OS maps, but that's gotta be a minority lol

Is anyone else seeing a glitch in the iPad Safari bookmarks pop over menu? The items disappear up behind the buttons at the top. Mine is an iPad 4 by the way.

I expect it'll all be cleaned up soon enough.

Yeah my bookmarks pop over menu seems bugged.

Anyone solve the wallpaper zoom in problem when setting wallpaper?

Yeah that's quite frustrating.

I can't scale my wallpaper at all, just keeps snapping back to the original size.

I think it's been like that on all the Betas so far.

Hopefully an easy fix when they get around to it.

Nothing to fix. It's because of parallax. It zooms in so that there is content around the edges to show when you move the phone.

If you turn off parallax, it won't zoom and you can scale as you please.

This bug has been annoying me today. The cutting off the bottom of the phone screen. Have to quit the Phone app to fix it. Happened twice thus far...

Thanks for the explanation, make sense but it's a bit crap isn't it?

It really zooms in quite a lot.

Perhaps they could introduce a setting so that you could choose to have the lock screen static and the unlocked state in parallax (or vice versa if you prefer - or both).

I like the parallax effect when the phone is unlocked, but would prefer an uncropped / zoomed image on the lock screen.

Until then I guess I'm either gonna have to live with it, or turn it off as you say.
