iOS 7 Zephyr?

I believe his statement was "it's not fun anymore, I'm out"

He still updated other tweaks after that but it doesn't look like he'll continue zephyr. Wish he'd let someone else pick it up. Activator gestures aren't nearly as smooth and consistent. I've settled with touch id single press and Lastapp.

True about activator gestures not being that smooth and consistent. I am missing zephyr a lot.

Just apply an activator motion to simulate a home button press and switcher activation and be done with it. its not the end of the world

For example, mine is set to swipe left and right on the status bar to simulate a home button press and a double tap on the status bar clock to go to switcher

Like everyone has said, it's not even close to as fast and smooth as Zephyr. This really pisses me off, now I'm stuck on 5.01.

Well freak out no more fellow nerds, MultitaskingGestures just came out on BigBoss, moves control center to notification center and has Zephyr functionality.

I'll repost from my reddit comment
Works like zephyr for closing apps & switching apps. Does not activate app switcher (I'm okay with this one since I use activator for it). But do wish for these changes:

1) split bottom of the screen for CC & close app. CC in NC looks out of place & functions oddly with extra launches/toggles

2) Split screen areas (like zephyr) for left/right app switching gestures. Right now we lose back function (& right/forward swipe for apps/safari)

Hahaha so sad, and so true.

But btw, the tweak causes springboard crashes every time I try to open the NC. I'm on 7.1 beta 2, I've already asked the dev and I hope he'll do something about it

Not to fond about multitask gestures but this is a basic tweak question. Anyone know if there's a tweak that places the control center into the notification center?

Absolutely amazing.

MPOW was working on a Zephyr followup as well.

It actually does activate the switcher, if you use three fingers.

Yeah caught that after reading the iDB article. Also tap+hold (left edge)+swipe let's you use the ios swipe back gesture for those that didn't catch that. I definitely prefer a 1 finger gesture (I use swipe along bottom edge for switcher in activator). Multi finger gestures don't make sense to me on an iphone.

Can you swipe up from the bottom and make the app close by going up like a curtain exactly like Zephyr?

It doesn't look like it's nearly as fast in closing an app by swiping up from the bottom as Zephyr, is that just bc of how slow you were doing it?

It's exactly the same. Closing and switching apps is smooth and as fast as your finger will go. I think in the video he was just dragging it slowly.

Awesome! Is there any reason you can think of that I shouldn't upgrade to iOS 7?

I can't say for sure. I guess it really depends on what tweaks you rely on. Some big ones for me like open notifier, intelliscreen x/lockinfo are still in the works. I have been on ios7 since beta 1 so I left ios6 a while ago. A few things to consider about multitaskinggestures:

1) It disables Control center in apps. Since you aren't using ios7 it may not affect you at all since you aren't used to using it. I have reassigned the gesture for it in activator for now.

2) App switching disables the swipe back gesture in ios7 and forward/menus in certain apps. Again, unless you used swipeback in ios6, you probably aren't used to that either. I am so used to this I even do it on my android phone from time to time. It's currently reassigned to tap+hold+swipe. Not ideal but it's still there.

3) Stability isn't perfect. Expected for an initial release. It's pretty stable but I have had a couple springboard crashes here and there.

Cool thanks. Can I turn off the app switching feature that conflicts with swipeback and still use swipeback? All I use Zephyr for is swipe up from bottom to close.

No not at the moment. I believe the dev is working on settings right now.

0.3 is out with a few settings. See the attached screenshot for details. You can also choose not to move CC into NC

Besides, I recommend trying out NCObey too, it allows to open NC directly into a specific section. It's free too...

Great update. Screen area options! I now have activator for bottom left to activate CC. Now we only need sensitivity settings.

Is it not as quick when swiping up to close the window? Is it a different animation or exactly the same as zephyr?

Is it identical to Zephyr?
