Just tried this and multiple apps did the same thing it even pulled apps that I haven't opened or had opened since yesterday.

Also I've notice that the app KeepSafe will keep launching after closing it by swiping up. (Side note- this app uses the Touch ID feature upon opening. )

It's not a bug, it's a feature! PHANTOM APPS!

Seriously though, I installed the beta and turned off the search, and turned off iCloud backup. Still getting rapid battery drain, and have phantom apps I'm not even using show up in battery usage.

Back to 8.3 for now.

Battery was pathetic yesterday, but today seems much better. Yesterday, I had to plug it in twice as it went below 20%. The phone was running hot even in standby.
Today, I charged up to 100% about an hour ago and it is still at 100%. I did not really use it for any thing though. Phone is not running hot today. Let's see if today is better than yesterday.
And i have not turned off any of the Search options.

But I still do not get any of the proactive Siri stuff. Don't know if this is even going to be supported in India.

Phone App is very sluggish and cannot hear the voice of the person calling/whom I've called.
Tried - Reboot, Reset Network Settings.
still the same result.
is anyone else facing this?

Hmmm...wonder if the app switcher closing apps by swiping up is working properly? When I power cycle my iP6+, and then go into the app switcher, ALL of the apps I had previously run since my last reboot are open, even though I had previously closed them. WTH?

Example:
- power on iPhone
- run 10 apps at different times, closing them in app switcher as I'm done with them
- ensure all apps are closed
- power cycle phone
- when phone is on again, go into app switcher and ALL 10 of those apps I had been using are running as though I had never closed them!

Makes me wonder if that explains the heat and battery if apps aren't really getting closed properly. But even still, weird that my iPhone would remember which apps I had opened after a power cycle!
I didnt notice that on my phone. And now I see slightly longer time on standby than used. I will check if iOS 9 beta would restore the full capability of iPhone 6 Plus battery.

I have tested a solid 9 hours screen on music listening time. Maybe phone could last longer than before.
Unfortunately, this beta is still a battery hunger. I will test if it can last longer, or not, this night.
Proactive Siri is available in Australia.

the best way to use the iOS 9 beta 1 is after restoring your back up on to the device
just do a factory 'Reset All Settings'

This won't delete your data, only bring your iDevice to default fresh settings

I'm currently using it on my primary device - iPhone 6 64GB

Works well. However, there are few bugs as stated in the initial post of this thread that are not resolved but so far they haven't affected the usability.

Battery is dropping a bit faster than how it dropped on iOS 8.3
I'm sure the next Beta will have a workaround.

Does that reset the homescreen layout? The prospect of rearranging all my icons doesn't sound very appealing to me ;)

Would this bring back your phone to "waiting for activation" state? If so, I would better not doing it.

I'm having an issue where it says I have apps that need updating and I can't update them once I've input my iTunes password.
App store has an issue which users may be prompted entering twice apple id when completing first in app purchase.
I have an issue preventing some apps (or all apps, I didn't try) from running after restarting the phone.
Normally updating apps does not require apple id password.

Haha yes it does reset that.
I upgraded from my Jailbroken iOS 8.0.1 to iOS 8.3 and then to iOS 9 beta 1
In the whole process my icons had rearranged at some point which I did not notice..

One night.. Just woke up with 32% and used my iPhone for 30 minutes, dropped from 32% to 12% within those 30 minutes.

I turned off the search things, doesn't seem to work.

11% now.

Can someone check if the list of stored passwords in iCloud keychain is finally searchable? This list is a pain in the ass if you have a lot of passwords stored...

It prompted me once when it doesn't have a password for that website. But not sure how to draw it out manually. And now it's authenticated with Touch ID.

In iOS 8 it's in Settings > Safari > Passwords & Autofill > Saved Passwords. Then you see a list of domains that have stored passwords. I hope you can search for a domain in this list! Now it is a pain to find a particular domain.

Yes you can! :) and you need to provide Touch ID to view them. At the top of the list, there's a search bar.

And you can individually add, edit, or delete credentials in here as well. In iOS 8 and before (if Safari can save password), we can only delete those items saved in Safari. Unfortunately, Apple seems hate a lot about bulk editing in iOS.

i have faced it last day.
It was because i connected to my car via bt. I changed the setting;
general-accessibility- call audio routing to automatic.
hope it helps
