I agree. Once I'm in the app for a few minutes its time to switch it back. If I use search to open an app, and I use this app for an hour I'm clearly not concerned about going back to search.

Yep, it's it's just as easy to "X" out of a link which takes you right back to the app you were in anyway!

I suppose some links do send you to Safari/ YouTube, etc. but it's still just a double tap away from the app you were in. I think this addition isn't worth it.

All of a sudden today I'm seeing the batteries widget on iPad. Very very interesting. Anyone else also seeing this now?

Seems like a wasted widget considering you can view batt stats on virtually every screen. Maybe that's going to change

Well on iPhone you see Apple Watch battery life as well. I think if they could tie in iPad that would make it perfect. When I first say the widget I was actually waiting for my phone and watch to show up with it but they didn't. Hopefully in a layer beta.

It also shows you apple watch battery in iPhone. Maybe they'll also add Bluetooth device battery indications (since they are adding keyboard shortcuts and such, presumably keyboard battery will be more important with the iPad plus.)

Now that makes much more sense. Good point.

I have the option within safari on my iPhone 6 Plus to share a page to the notes app but I'm not seeing this option for my iPad Air 2.

Can anyone confirm its not showing as an option to share to notes from the share sheet in Safari on an iPad?

Edit: and yes I checked to see if notes was an option in the More section but it's not listed.

I have share-to-notes from share sheet on iPad Air 2 in 9.0b1.

Bummer. Not sure why it's not showing up at all on mine. Tried different pages, verified it wasn't hidden in the "More" section and I've used it several times on my iPhone.

Thanks for checking!

Edit: A restart of my iPad Air 2 fixes it to where it shows again.. Now I wish I knew what made it disappear because it's now missing on my iPhone 6 Plus until I restarted that as well. If I find the cause I'll do a bug report with Apple.

My Jaybird Bluebuds X battery shows up in the widget when they are connected , so yes I believe they will show BT batteries.

So........as of yesterday, every single app shows a black screen when its opened. I have to kill all apps in switcher, then let the homescreen preview sit for a second, the last app opened will load on that homepage preview screen, I tap the page preview to go Home, it shows the app for a split second then goes to the homescreen. Very, very strange that it just started happening. Curious to know what causes this. And this happens on every app. If I exit an app, then go to another, it causes this black screen issue. Only way to revert is to do what I said by swiping up on the app switcher and waiting for the homescreen to load the last app.

Anyone else see this? Seems like it has gotten worse every day. Come onnnnnnn Monday!

the phone app is now crashing to home screen whenever I try to open it >_<

oddly I can still make calls, I just have to go to the separate contacts app and start the call from there :-/

edit: restarting the iPhone doesn't fix it, nor does closing the phone app from the recent apps screen (where it does appear)

For those who have an iPad 3 or 4 running iOS 9... Do they have the new Spotlight feature
Not on my iPad 3, but I would say that it's a blessing. Proactive is a HUGE battery drain in beta 1, but my iPad has been unplugged since beta 1 was released, and I have yet to plug it in (I don't use it much).

Is anyone else having trouble with LTE signal. Mine keeps running really slow and then I run a speed test and it starts kinda working. Anyone else having this problem.
