I realize there is a huge difference between usage hrs and standby hrs...

To clarify, I would say in a normal 3 hr period where there is moderate texting and maybe a phone call or two... what I consider normal usage. Not surfing the Internet using my iPhone.... anyway just observing my battery life under those conditions with iOS9 my battery would drain quickly. I was amazed by just how much. Looking at my apps, it was showing safari around 45% and messages being close to 60% with other apps like Waze being around 20%... with the software/firmware update messages now show up at 23% (still texting people normally), and Safari at 35%...battery level was at 75% this afternoon before I drove home.

I'm sure its too soon to determine usage but my initial feel is that the battery seems to last much longer than it did when I had iOS9 installed.
I have the exact same problem. The battery is draining like crazy on standby on my iPhone 6. Today when I came to the office, the battery was at 99%. After 5 hours, the battery is at 86% and the phone has not been used even once in that time. It's just sitting there on standby. 13% drain without doing anything whatsoever. Background refresh is closed.

Do I have battery drain? Never seen home screen with this high percentage.
