SWEET. Looks like they fixed it then! I originally submitted that bug report when 8.2 came out. Nice to know that they fixed it, but man did they take a long time.
don't get your hopes up, I can still reproduce the bug on iPhone 6. however, don't let it bother you so much.

Hi, is anybody else having huge problems with battery life on iPhone 6 running iOS 9.1 beta 4/5?

Mine has been acting crazy for the last 3 days - right now I have 3hrs6mins in standby and only 16mins used since 100% and battery is already down to 67%. A week ago this usage would not drain more than 10%.. Everything is killed in the background, I even deleted Facebook app. Not sure if this is caused by iOS 9.1 beta or something is wrong with my battery.

Try reset Network Setting and monitor again. If draining issue remain, try reset All Setting.

There're skeptic on this method but work wonder for me so far.

Noticed a change today. In beta 5 if I use Hey Siri to make a call it no longer starts the call on speakerphone. That was the behavior in previous betas.

The Facebook share sheet has changed. I think.

Does anyone know if the hidden network glitch has been fixed in this?

For those that don't know if you're using a hidden network it's pretty much impossible to connect your iPhone or iPad to that network.

A "hidden" network being what exactly?

You can't see the ssid when doing a wifi search.
Odd, I've been using at least one networks with SSID that isn't advertised (that I had to add manually essentially) and it's been working fine.

Im seeing a couple things, both I had not seen before.

1. Activating SIRI with white earbud wired headset.. Simply pressing and holding the center of the volume rocker either does nothing or takes several attempts to get SIRI to respond. It used to be essentially instantaneous with the plugged in headphones.

2. Saying to SIRI "call xyz on mobile" gets me to a page that says "which number, mobile or home" But I said MOWBILE very clearly. it never gets it now.

3. I see this popup when I come back to the HOME and the LAN where I have a bluetooth home phone system. The popup shows on the lock screen - as if it is a continuity bubble, but it's not, it's showing a stocktwits app. Then, When I got to the app carousel and shut down the app, I see this stupid bubble on the bottom of the screen - which honestly I have never seen before that says "stocktwits - connected to DECTXYZ123 [which is the bluetooth phone system]" These two things have NOTHING to do with one another.
Unrelated: Where did you get that nice iOS 5 wallpaper tailored for the iPhone 6?

Apple News search does not work on my phone, is it the case for anyone else? (iPhone 6)

That's a hidden network. Now when you're finding it are you using an iPhone or iPad? Cause the weird thing is that with my iPod I can connect to the network. According to our IT Group it's something that's not just effecting us. Might be the type of security protocols we use. We're on WPA2

Using an iPhone. This is with enterprise security requiring a login.

No problem for me, my network at home is hidden and I've never had problems to connect. Several iPhones and iPads with several iOS (from 7 to 9.1 beta 5).

There is an Apple KB regarding this. (actually been updated recently) Its not a bug technically.

I'm going off of the phrasing used in emails from our IT Group.
Interesting enough there is another KB with more info. Its dated later but pretty much shows how to connect to hidden network which would say its ok (how I would interpret it). The first KB I sent is also referenced/linked from this one. It is more talking about "best practice" though.
