Anyone else see their cellular data usage going up for no reason? I'm on wifi all day and cellular data usage in one day is 120 MB. I have submitted feedback, but wondering if it's widespread.
It could be due to the diagnostic data being collected at the backend. Turn it off.

You guys want to see how poorly optimized iOS 9 is? Set a Dynamic wallpaper as your homescreen wallpaper and take a look at general performance, especially multitasking. Pathetic. And this is on an iPhone 6s Plus.

I've shut off background refresh for Facebook but it still does things in the background. It's consistent my top 3 battery-draining app. (It also hijacks the volume control but that's another topic for another thread. )
Maybe I need to turn off the contacts linking to Facebook as well.

Yeah FB app is a pig. delete it and use the mobile site or Paper.

Well what-da-ya-know? https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ife-drain-issue-and-working-on-a-fix.1928997/

Seeing really good battery life on beta 5. I know it's all relative but for me it's vastly improved over 9.0.2 and beta 4.

At 69% after regular usage including Safari, Tweetbot, Facebook and Messages, I already got 5 hours of usage and 8 hours of standby at 50% screen brightness on 6sPlus. I'll take it!

The brightness flickering may not be a bug.

I first noticed it when I was using the phone as a GPS,
display is dimmed whenever phone gets hot, I assume to prevent overheating.

Yes, I can confirm this. Had it on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 since at least iOS 8.0

Running 9.1 B5, does anyone know why I keep getting prompted to enter my Apple ID password after I've done a soft reset, or powered on from an off state? When I click settings it takes me to the iCloud settings page..

I've signed out of iCloud, rebooted, signed back into iCloud but it keeps happening..

I've gotten that in iOS 9.0.2 a couple of times as well.

Im getting massive battery drain over messages. Anyone else experiencing this? Iphone 6 Plus hereimage.png

Is it massive battery drain, or essentially that you used the Messages for about a third of the time of your phone use in the last 24 hours?

Definitely drain. I usually leave work with about 75-80%. Today I was at 50%. No change daily in texts recieved or sent. Tried rebooting but i can literally see the battery percentage going down. Im at 7% now from the last time I posted

I've been getting signed out of iMessage and FaceTime on my iPad Air running iOS 9.1 beta 5. It has happened several times this week. Also, I frequently get prompted to update my iCloud password. It is only happening on my iPad Air. It has not occurred on my iPhone 6 Plus also running 9.1b5 or my MBP. Has anyone else experienced this? I know Apple services have gone down several times this week, so it may be related to that.

I reluctantly reverted back to 9.0.2.

Shame frequent locations get wiped when you restore

The lag/stutter is still there with 3rd party keyboards like Swype or others in Spotlight search especially on my iPhone 5s running 9.1 beta 5 and with my iPad mini2 running 9.0.2 the stutter/lag is in many places besides Spotlight search such as Notes, Safari when showing the 3rd party keyboards like Swype (some lag) or Path Input (major lag). Swype did get a iOS9 update recently but still no changes in response (lag/stutter).

Siri suggestions ain't working for me anymore. For example when searching for a restaurant. It always wants to do a web search. Anyone else have this issue?

Hmmm... After changed my wallpaper with the dynamic one, I got black wallpaper with white apple logo in the middle.

...interesting.

for me everything is smoth .. no lag no issues.... perfect ... good job apple

look at my video

my device iPhone 6s

Well, if iPhone 6s has noticeable stutter, and lag, I doubt if Apple would still release new iOS to promote new devices.

Hello Everyone.

Is anyone experiencing rare battery bug? At 17% and in just one moment, minute, its going down to 11%

This happened to me twice, first time on pb4, and now on pb5, im sure, its not a battery fault, because on my 6 plus im getting 12 hours of use.

Anyone noticed that spotlight search shows duplicated songs, one with album artwork and also same song with iTunes icon. Furthermore, it is always showing results of applications which is disabled from being searched by spotlight?
