Beta 5 has made my iPhone 6 Plus run as buttery smooth as 8.4.1.

9.0, 9.0.1, and 9.0.2 have been nothing but trouble. Glad to see Apple working out most of the lag/memory issues with 9.1. Can't wait for the official release.
Placebo and you're getting used to it.

Just noticed that the lag when selecting an app from the app switcher in pb 5 of ios9.1 comes about when you have more than five apps open or four apps open. It goes away almost entirely if you have five apps open. If the app you're selecting has a keyboard open the lag is more likely to happen regardless of the number of apps open.
Sent a bug report with that info to Apple. Hopefully helps in narrowing down the cause of the animation stutter. Disappointing to deal with on a brand new iPad Air 2.

I'm hoping so as well. It's early though. I was thinking at least November to coincide with the iPad Pro.

Both the iPad Pro and Apple TV are going to be available online to order last week of October and available in stores (and also those October orders shipping) first week of November. So that pretty much puts 9.1 to release this week. So that it is out and ready to support the new products.

Just after 11 pm here in Dublin and I just got a notification that beta 5 was available, thing is I'm a already running it. Anyone else getting this?

On 9.0.2 I'm not able to use 3D Touch at all for photos inside Messages in landscape. Is this fixed?

Uhh... no...
Things can't possibly be different and/or better for people, especially with updates. Everyone clearly has the same big issues and some people are just blind or lying when it comes to them. ;)

Is anyone else getting MEGA lag when pulling down message notifications? I don't usually complain about lag too much but this one is really getting to me.

Actually, they can't.

Anybody else out there that can no longer use Control Centre? Swiping up from the bottom of my screen does nothing.
