Anyone else have the issue when the battery hits 22% and shuts down in low battery mode? Requiring a charge to turn back on?

(I have a 6s)

not sure if 22% but my phone bas died twice on 9.1 betas when it was above 10%. had to charge to turn on, and it turned on with over 10%.
iPhone 6, never had battery/power issues before

Thanks for the info. Thought it was my phone. Will wait for another beta before i take my phone back :)

Do you guys think the final of 9.1 will be released today? Is the dev center usually down before a final release or new beta released? I doubt they would release a beta 6? I'd expect the next release to be the final since we had 5 beta already

Just installed the beta (iPad Air 2). Seems that the task switcher is noticeably more fluid vs 9.0.2 when using a dynamic wallpaper. However, very annoyingly there is still very noticeable choppiness in the display rotation animation in the Music app. Overall, performance is going in the right direction but still a very, very long way until I deem it acceptable.

Anyone else noticing the extremely poor screen rotation animation frame rate in the Music app?

Seeing it on 9.0.2 (obviously). Pretty disappointing that this hasn't been fixed.

I also see the choppiness in Google Photos, though that's out of Apple's control. My Nexus 5 running Android 6.0 is smoother than the iPad in Google Photos, no way that should be the case. I don't care that the iPad has a higher display resolution, its GPU is an order of magnitude greater than the Adreno 330 in the Snapdragon 800. The Nexus also has no trouble in music apps with lots of high resolution album artwork. There's really no excuse here for Apple.

Well, it looks like we're not getting 9.1 today...

Could still drop in the next hour or so. Since it's an update not a full new roll out we have seen some of these delayed a little bit from the usual window.

Hello, guys. Do you get any feedback/response to bug reports you report to Apple? I've reported 9 bugs to Apple but no response so far. The oldest bug report is from October 1st. I don't want to participate in beta program if no one is gonna process my bug reports.

I've submitted 6. Three of them were closed because they were duplicates, and the other three still haven't gotten a response. Radar is a mess to be honest. They shouldn't just close duplicates and leave it at that. They should look at what they say, and see if that info will help them fix the bug. Because every bug report is going to have slightly different info which can only help them pinpoint the problem more easily.

Which they probably do. It's pretty common practice to link to duplicates in a bug report. We just can't see the original bug report so we have no idea what information is included.

Radar is a pain, but don't assume that just because you don't get feedback on every bug you file that it means no one is looking at them. I've had bugs sit with no status change for ages, then gotten a message from Apple saying to retest in a particular build. Others have had lots of back and forth from the start, some have been closed as duplicates, and some have just sat for years with no change in status.

I've gotten feedback when they had something to say (and even when I assume it was a duplicate). For example, with the dreaded 'dead screen, need to hard reset' bug, I got an email saying this was at least partially addressed on PB4. And I've not had a problem since. (Others have, but I think the frequency is greatly reduced.)

In any case, it may depend on the actual bug, how much return feedback they give and if they actually worked on it. I feel using a beta and giving feedback is better than just complaining (here) about it. :)

y'all talking about hearing back on items submitted with the Feedback app or with the bug report website?

I've submitted 32 Feedback app items over 3 months and not heard back about any of them

I agree but I thought they at least change the status from new to acknoledged or something like that. ;)

Feedback app, I just discovered that there is a web reporting tool which is not synced with the app.
