Anyone with an iPad Air having performance issues on 9.1? App switching is still laggy, as well as spotlight suggestions. Works flawlessly on my iPhone 6 though.

There is a new setup process when you turn on the 'Hey Siri' feature in settings- it asks you to say a few commands before it activates it..Might be old but never noticed it before

6 Plus here. First few hours the phone was stuttering everywhere, I thought I was going to be stuck with it until the next update. I now notice all the stutters seem to be gone (a few frame drops in some animations). It's actually smooth. Smooth scrolling and swiping. That's a first in iOS 9 for me and I've been using it since PB 1.

I haven't noticed any bugs yet, and I have to say I'm satisfied so far. Battery life seems to be quite decent as well, currently at 65% with 4:29 hr usage and 5:39 hr standby. I've been playing games, texting, browsing the web, and just finished off a movie I rented from iTunes. But I'll have to see if the battery holds up consistently. It's too early to tell.

All in all, I (somewhat hesitantly as it's still early) consider this an improvement over GM and PB 3.

That was strange. I was on the 9.0 PB and since I couldn't upgrade to GM had removed the beta software profile to wait for the full release of 9.0. Still got prompted to install 9.1 PB1 overnight.

Anyway, tried it and some bugs I reported in 9.0 are fixed (e.g. email attachment icons 'persisting' when opening and closing HTML emails), some are not (the 'remove from recents' option on email addresses still hasn't been reinstated). Trying the News app (as a UK user) and it's okay. Decent range of sources but lacks functionality (change fonts and/or apply a plain text view, remove specific stories or sources I'm not interested in, etc).

Performance seems ever so slightly snappier on my iPhone 6 compared to the last 9.0 PB but it's hard to be sure. Too early to tell on battery life for me. Haven't really noticed anything else significant.

So no one can do an iCloud backup?
Actually, I was able to get a backup to work. I deleted all my iCloud backups and toggled backup off/on. Failed several times but repeated this and ended up working eventually. Only thing different on the successful attempt was that I played with my phone throughout the backup as opposed to letting the screen turn off.

I've noticed the slo-mo frame speed selector is missing on my iPhone 6 running 9.1, no longer able to toggle between 240 and 120 frames.

What's the bug? Haven't heard about this bug nor have I noticed anything.
If you send a text to someone on the bottom on the Messages conversation list, the thread goes to the top, but if you delete the last message in that thread, the conversation still staya on top of the conversation list in Messages, and it also shows the time for the deleted message. It is kind of annoying, I know this did not happen on iOS 7..

There might be a whatsapp update coming... this version is having issues the the iOS 9 GM & 9.1 builds.

I've tweeted them. Luckily it doesn't really affect me as I haven't updated my iPhone 6 which is still working on 9 GM. It's only my old 5s that has the problem on 9.1.

6+, so far so good for me. A lot of the lag is gone. This should have been the 9.0 GM lol.

An unpair and pair of my Watch helped the battery as well. No issues with 9.1 and the Watch so far.

Whatsapp is not working on an iPhone 5s with 9.1 for me.

Working fine on my iPhone 6 running 9.0 GM, so definitely a 9.1 issue.

Whatsapp works just fine on my iPhone 5s. Upgraded from ios 9.0 beta3 with WA already installed before.

Multitasking still lags and drops plenty of frames on the 6 Plus. Is this the case with the regular 6?.
Curiously when I disable the Blur effects its fine. Just shows the 6 Plus is under powered from the get go. The iPad 3 of iPhones.

The truth is: if you upgrade it's ok everywhere. If you install as new app, it's unusable everywhere because a problem to sent activation code in 9.1
That's all, not about different iPhone models.

So I read this thread before updating and I examined my icloud backup. I saw that under iOS9.0 PB5 I hadn't been backed up since 7/22. I tried various combinations including deleting all of my icloud backups for my 6+ Nothing worked so I backed up to itunes and updated to 9.1B1.

iCloud backup is running perfectly now. I'm suspecting that backup in 9.0B5 was buggy and it's fixed in 9.1B1 but you need to delete the corrupt backups.

Perhaps not in iOS 7, but it was there in iOS 8 and might be a design change where the history and order is still maintained even though you might have deleted the message locally on your device (given that the message is still part of the conversation and would exist on other devices).

The carrier update on T-Mobile, from 9.0GM to 9.1GM seems a lot worse. LTE and 4 bars in this hotel room with 9.0GM. With 9.1 Beta, 1 bar, and 4G (hard to get LTE). Why they would tweak and mess this up is beyond me.
