I see the "set up as new" placebo is alive and well.
On my 6 plus i have lag in multitasking and when i rotate the screen with keyboard out in message and anywhere wheat i have keyboard out. Please fix it. is unacceptable FOR this device..
It seems the numbered iPad series "4,3" had more longevitity than the Air series but than Apple realised that iPad sales are declining so they gimp the iPads to get people to upgrade sooner
Can I say here is a major stutter when playing games? I may lose the game because of lag!
iPhone 5 is definitely faster and smoother. Funnily enough, it's almost as fast as my dads iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 was such a dud phone lol
my iphone 5 is blazing fast too! LOL, almost like they did this update for the 5 alone
6s is working great with reduce transparency on, and after a complete full discharge and charge I am getting 1 hour less than I did with my 6

You've disabled a big part of the iOS experience you didn't have to do in iOS8 and you say it's "working great" ?

Why don't you just turn the whole phone off while you are at it.
You bought a smartphone but you disabled all the features that make it smart.
If I don't turn those options off I will be lucky to make 3hrs on screen time, as of now I am getting 5hrs which still isn't up to par with my 6 I was getting 6-7hrs on screen.
It was pun intended, with it on the micro stutters/lag is visually apparent. With it off there is no micro stutters/lag
I can't really judge as I came from a 5s that had to be charged before the end of the day. Now on the 6s at the same time, about 7pm, there is 50% battery left.
However with me:
- 3d touch is on
- siri is on
- location services on
- spotlight off (don't use it)
- eye candy off (dislike it)
- lte on
- icloud on
- itune updates on
- apple music off (don't use it)
- wifi on
- screen brightness auto
Get it checked on genius bar, i have all of this turned on plus push email and getting constantly 9hrs+ screen time on 6s plus so on 6s you should be getting at least 6 hours.
What i have found is killing FB from multitasking and turning off contact sync for watsapp has improved lot.
It's great turned off. The screen starts out black and when you tap it it remains black instantly!
Horrible, choppy animations when activating peek&pop on emails and with Quick Actions menu. 6s Plus feels like 4s on iOS 8 :/
So the consensus seems to be that if you have a 6s or a 6s+, skip this upgrade, but anything older it's probably worth it?
