Is that not just the bounce it has
I keep swiping without releasing my finger and the the end, before the icons (calculator, flashlight) show it stutters a bit. Nothing major, but still.

I guess Camera.app launches much faster.

Il try that. But is it not designed for you to just swipe and not keep your finger on it.

If I keep my finger on yes there is a tiny stutter. But if I just swipe and let it do its thing it's not there.

I notice it too

I have never once kept my finger on the Control Center while bringing it up, so I have never once experienced the stutter. But with holding my finger on it, I see the stutter. But the question is, why are people keeping their finger on it?? Its supposed to be swiped, not pulled.

Exactly what I said above :)

I just noticed that the separator between 1.4 GB is a comma and not a period ha

It doesn't matter if you swipe and release or swipe and keep swiping, if it is dropping frames - it's not working as it should.

Or its dropping frames because your not using it as you should? Its not meant to be pulled up with your finger dragging it up all the way. Its meant to be flicked up.

Surely that's the software not being able to do its job because you kept finger on it? It is designed to be swiped and not slowly moved up hence software is not being optimised. Maybe wrong here

Oh stop it. I notice stuttering either way anyway.

Stutters, microstutters in control center? Seriously... does that really matter so much? I just want Safari to load pages as fast as it did with ios 6 and 7...

60 fps are great, I want them back too, but the main problem is load times increase

Thats what I am thinking. Its designed to be flicked, not pulled. So it doesn't know how to respond if you don't remove your finger. So if you are doing it "wrong" you can't expect the software to keep up with behavior it wasn't designed for.

It stutters when you flick it as well. It's just more noticeable when dragging as its moving slower.

I personally see no stutter on my Air 2 or 6s. I just see the bounce. I do see the stutter if I am dragging it up slowly.

  • Stuttering present in Messages list view, Control Center, when swiping down to activate Spotlight, when scrolling through wallpapers (iPhone 6).
Swiping down to activate Spotlight was buttery smooth in Beta 2. I even made a video. (iPhone 6)
