Some people will never be happy. That be you. ;)

Why would we be happy? It's a beast of a phone hardware wise so it should be able to render the UI at a full 60fps without any lag.

It's people like you that accepts **** releases like this that are the problem. Why settle for less when we were promised something else? Smh

There's being realistic and there's being utopian seeking perfect perfection. Nothing wrong with wanting and striving for that, just as there isn't anything wrong with wanting and striving for world peace.

Remember when I did a video like this in exact same lighting I was told it was too dark lol :) this is a good video well done.

You keep bringing that up. (Almost as much as lag people)

Your video was too dark. The biggest difference was/is his iPad screen is taking up the bulk of the shot frame, so the camera exposes for the bright screen. Your video was 90-95 % dark room with a very tiny iPhone screen in the shot frame. Your video the camera was exposing more for the low light. The tell tale of that was the very yellow colour tone of the room you were in and the fact as your hand was moving you could see tons of motion blur. Which is a result of a slower shutter speed for video. Which in the end destroys all chances of showing/not showing iOS frame stutters and giving a proper representation.

Your video was just poorly done and my original comment you keep bringing up was correct because a poor video provides nothing to no one because it's highly inaccurate. RebornProphet does the videos nicely and really shows off how well iOS 9 can run.

I accept that I'm perfectly happy and everything is running great here on b3.

Realistic? Believing that the iPhone 6s should manage a simple blur effect at 60fps seems very realistic
That belief is realistic. Believing or expecting that small issues of this nature won't be there in the initial release of a new OS version, or even in the first few months of one, that's not as realistic.

I loaded b3 on my wife's iPad 4 and the difference is huge!

The App Switcher was very poor on 9.1 and on 9.2 b3 it's so smooth. Spotlight Search is even better, but still needs a tiny bit of work. Overall impressions are, this is one heck of an update for iPad 4!

I discovered 2 bugs. Both have to do with NC

1. If you slide down NC and then press the sleep button and then wake up the iPhone NC shows up for a brief second.

2. If you turn on reduce motion and then turn it off. The bars where the name of the widget is located is much darker than usual in NC.

Yeah well I worked hard for my money and if I spend this much on a "top of the line" product I expect it to perform like a "top of the line" product - wtf don't you understand about that?

Oh sorry you settle for less my bad.
Seems to me he's happy with his experience. How's that settling for less?

Absolutely 100% agree with you. The performance of B3 compared to B2 is night and day. My iPad 4 is now smooth, responsive and way more enjoyable to use. Top work this time Apple.

Does 3dtouch animations still lag on 6s plus?

Not if you rotate into landscape. Super glitchy there. You can temporarily 'fix' this by pulling down spotlight - then 3D touch in landscape is smooth. It reverts back to glitchy if you rotate to portrait and pull spotlight down again.

Can anybody report this bug?

  • If you "reduce transparency": ON, you can´t see the tapping indicator when you write in a white keyboard. No issues with black keyboard. This bug is present since ios 8. (as seen here: Youtube) (This issue is only present in the iPad)

And yes, I've tried several times report bugs in the developer web page (however I'm not a developer) and I could never report anyone... (Not allowed)

Apple Music is just as bad as Facebook, when it comes to battery drain. It doesn't matter that I have my music downloaded to my device.

I just sent it in, with your description and a link to the video.
