Apple fudged up the Public Beta this time around. I'm seeing quite a few reports where people on the Public Beta ring are getting the update over and over again in Settings>General>Software Update. It seems Apple accidentally published the same update file for the Dev and Public rings.

If you were on the Public Beta and got an update bigger then 500MB and it keeps prompting you to install the update again, you were accidentally update to the dev beta. Your phone will be stuck showing that annoying "1" on settings until Apple fixes it.

My 6s Plus did the same thing.

Why in the world would someone open CC while using Siri?? I will admit it stutters like crazy on my 6s, but what is the purpose. Who actually does that??
LOL was thinking the same thing. Short answer: to find something to complain about. Same as "flip up and down notifications 4 times really fast, then stop 1/2 way through then hit home button 3 times and press the vol button up and down 2 times and it will re-spring sometimes. Dang it apple fix this please!"

I'm on that public beta endless update loop and I somehow got rid of the 1 badge.
I deleted the update file, removed the profile, rebooted, installed the profile again, rebooted, and the badge is somehow gone.

So I'm on the second round of update for B3, if it says there is another to DL, don't bother, correct? It's already on the phone?

correct. I expect later today it will go away on its own. Something not jiving on the update portal. otherwise a workaround would have to be used to stop it.

[Edit] Seems that Apple has resolved the issue. I no longer see the update prompt and states I am up to date.

Do quick reply message banners still lag horrifically? That's the only thing I really care about now because the entire rest of the phone is otherwise usable.

No. Working great here on my 6+ and Air 2.
