iPad Air 2 does feel tiny bit snappy on 9.2 beta 4. It is definitely not stuttering in App switcher anymore.
So on this device, iOS is nearing perfection.
Same here on my Air 2.

On my 6+, it feels very snappy. My 6+ on iOS 9 has been so good. Very pleased.

For those who want to see Android Gingerbread class lag on Air 2,open Wishlist and scroll to homescreen in app switcher.

I feel like Apple will never fix lags on the iPhone 6. The Control Center lag bothers me so much, but mostly just because they don't fix it. If you can't optimize Metal for iOS 9, don't use it at all!!!! They just need to completely DROP Metal in iOS 9 and then the Control center animation would be smooth again.

It lags on the 6s so what makes you think it'll be fixed on the 6?

So, if I have a 6S on 9.1 it's still not worth updating to 9.2 beta 4? I would've expected better news by beta 4 timeline. oh well.

You said true. We get new beta every week and I alway wonder what they fixed. And today is an example. Nothing.....

6s on 9.1 lead to horrible battery life for me. 9.2 B3 was fantastic, hoping the same for B4. Overall performance on my Air 2 and 6s on B3/B4 have been better than 9.1.

It is stuttering but I didn't notice it that much. Feels like there is screen tearing which we get when we disable V-Sync in games.

Could someone find a video or something that actually shows what "control center lag" looks like?
Go to cuellar , scroll down and open contro center .

ios 9 is slow , stutter and it makes me hate Apple . my iphone 6+ is running like iphone 4s these days ...

Hopefully this isn't a battery killer. lol
Time to find out. Just trickle charged my 6s and Air 2 to 100% (used a mAh meter to make sure they are at 100% capacity). Time to just let them sit with all applications closed and background update off, to see what is going on in the background.

After 1 hour of sitting, I run a video for 1 hour, full brightness. I do this every single time there is an update to gauge battery life in comparison to previous versions.

I see the little bit of fps drop when the control center gets 75-80% pulled up... I see this on 9.1 and you guys are saying it's still there on 9.2 beta 4... This wasn't there on 8.4.1. It was buttery smooth. It seems like the 6S has this same stutter. Hmm.. Does the control center still function? Yes. Will Apple maybe smooth this out? Maybe. I just don't think it's a number 1 priority right now obviously for them. They are trying to get the "it just works" parts right and the "make it pretty" part usually comes last. It's just weird and sad to see many of you throwing these tissy fits over a few dropped frames here and there with spotlight and Cc center. I just picture you guys sitting there repeatedly flipping CC center up and down or spotlight search and then going "ah ha! It's still doing it!" in a nerdy little voice then running to the forums to whine some more. I'm starting to feel awkward thinking of it. Chill out guys. These phones are still awesome. Nothing is perfect. You waste so much time looking for these little things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of it all. Life is too short. Enjoy your phone. My OCD used to get the best of me too. But I learned to let it go. There is hope!

did you encounter any bugs on beta 3 that drove you insane?

None. I had no lag on either device. I did have stutter on CC when manually pulling it up and not just swiping. Additionally I had lag with CC when opening it with Siri engaged. (Things that I would have never done on my own until people posted about it). I haven't had any random crashing or rebooting with my 6s. I was very happy with B3.

Not really. Feels more or less the same. If someone gave my two devices with both versions, I'd have no idea which was which.

Scrolling down the list of apps in Cellular Data in Settings shows huge stutter.Have reported this since 9.0 but Apple can't be bothered to fix it
