Yeah, I've tried to use the phone "normally" or actually less than usual this last week and it's definitely a problem, at least since 9.3.1. The last couple of days I haven't noticed any big jumps in life but the drain is still noticeably faster, I'd expect to be ending the evening at around 40-50% based on usage but instead I'm plugging the phone in when I get home from work at around 6:30pm because I'm already in the 30's. When I left it overnight I woke up to 4%, a little too close for me relying on the alarm!

So it definitely seems a real issue, for a number of people at least. How do we report this properly?

Dropped 20% in around 40 mins of Safari browsing/instant messaging from 100% this morning, that's not right.

Same to me while listening online radios like Tune in and browsing the phone! Iphone 6s!

I've noticed radio streaming is suddenly a lot more draining on battery. I've used YouTube less but think it's demanding too

Yes it some times goes 2 3 percent at once?

I haven't noticed that but whenever I listen (usually 20mins or so), my battery takes a bit of a hiding - 10-15%. Other than that my battery is about average I'd say

Have you noticed on the 6s the lcd gets warm in the earpiece region.

Submitted a bug report and downgraded back to 9.3.1.

I MIGHT have stopped the battery drain...but many will not like how I did it.

I completely signed out of iCloud on the phone. Since then my phone has sat for 1.5 hours without losing a single % in battery while before I would have lost 3 or 4, sometimes more.

Has this helped effectively? Please reply :( desperate for a fix.

Does any member ever see linear battery use / discharge

Meaning, whatever usage stats you see from 100% to 50%
Will double by the time the battery dies, 0%

Battery discharge and the reporting of approximated percentages isn't linear.

Pointless comparison. 9.3.2 is beta, so even if it's either better or worse than 9.3.1, it doesn't mean the next beta or public release will be too.

If you think it's not worth discussing, you're free not to click the link to this thread.
In any case, it's no guarantee what the release will be like, but could indicate whether the final will address the issue. Also, for someone with bad battery performance on 9.3.1, trying the beta may give a temporary solution.
The thread is intended to discuss the final as well

I didn't say it wasn't worth discussing. In fact I joined and contributed to the discussion by stating that it was a pointless comparison.

Whatsapp causing serious battery drains
It won't turn off from background even we enable low power mode or disable background app refresh it still downloading messages in background while connected to wifi and mobile data
Excess battery usage by this crap app they don't want to fix it I reported many times
