I'm not sure if this was added before but you can now 3D Touch into the multitasking view from springboard (before you had to currently be in an app to be able to invoke the gesture)
I just tried this *before* installing the beta, and it's possible. So this isn't new for this beta.

Is anyone else here wondering where the iOS 10 leaks are? Tim Cook must be doubling down on secrecy, around this time years past we would get leaks about the beta version of the new software. iOS 9.3.3 might be the last version unless major bugs are found during the beta for iOS 10.

Sounds good! I sent a case anyway because you shouldn't need to do that when you've made a clean install =)
Most don't. Just something that sometimes happens here and there.

Were there leaks about iOS 9 at this point last year?

Might try a factory reset and restore and see if the problem goes away or a reboot.

Just trying a reboot or resetting some settings first might be the simpler way to go about it.

Same issue is present on both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s. I have done a number of hard resets and nothing is triggering it. I did a hard reboot last night, but kept the devices off via that hard reboot throughout the entire night. Devices are charging now. Hopefully it sorted it out. My iPhone was at 9 hours of stand by and 9 hours of usage with 18% remaining. Something is stuck in the background for sure.

Nope. Both devices are still showing the same battery usage and standby as the device drains. With nothing opened, screens off.

Now I'm gonna try Airplane mode on.

I believe the only leak we have today, that is most likely legit, is the integration of a new default HomeKit app.

Though, I can't remember having a lot of iOS 9 leaks last year at the same period.

iOS new features usually doesn't leak a lot because the software is developed internally. Unlike new Apple products where the company need the help of differents suppliers which is where leaks came from for the most time.

I think the fact that they're supporting a 5 year old tablet is impressive. Name any other tablet on the market that has received 5 major software upgrades in its life

In some ways its a good thing (if you hold onto tech for 4-5 years) But in many ways its a bad thing. For example. These tablets and phones have the horsepower (specifically graphics power) to be running games with graphics quality as good or better than a PS3. Yet developers have to program for the lowest common denominator. (iPad2 , iPhone 4S). This severely limits the potential and we have reached a point where software is holding back these devices, specifically iPads. Apple gets up every year and brags about how fast and powerful the next phone is......and what do we get? Another candy crush or clash of clans clone. Whats the good of getting up EVERY SINGLE YEAR and saying the A whatever processor is 2X faster and 2X the graphics when that power is RARELY RARELY RARELY seen. So now your snapchats load 0.02 seconds faster?

Theres a reason people still have old iPads....they're fast enough for basic consumption like music , photos and movies.

If its all about apps, like apple continues to pound into our brains every chance they get....THEN GIVE US THE APPS!

Forgive me but I miss the good ole days of app store apps where there was actual progress (2008-2012)

Just my findings, battery life on 9.3.2 is utter rubbish. Battery life on all ios9 betas was far better. My usage patterns are the same, its now impossible to reach 5pm without being at 15% battery, was usually at 45%.

We've seen a few. HomeKit app, Apple Music UI revamp, ability to hide default apps. You must remember software is all internal at Cupertino so leaks are rare. Hardware on the other hand, huh, we've hardly seen any leaks...

Seeing lots of BT drops on my Jaybird X2s. Disconnected 3-4 times already. I will re-pair and see if that fixes it. Watch has stayed connected.

Alright there is definitely a bug when it comes to networking. When iPad and iPhone are on Airplane mode, battery usage and standby are not the same. When on Wifi/Cellular, battery time is the same for both usage and standby.

Some sort of sync process stuck perhaps? From iCloud or an email/calendar account or perhaps (although less likely) an app maybe?

Nope. Nothing is syncing in background. I have an app that tracks Wifi In/Out. And there is no data being transmitted.

Reporting Bug now.
