Before reset all setting my iphone 6 is same with 9.2, but after reset my 6 is faster like ios 8 i think.

Still does make it an absolute "must" that everyone resets all settings every time they installed an update like your original post suggested. It can work in some cases, but it's not a must for everyone, every single time. It's only if something is acting up and other "fixes" haven't worked kinda thing that anyone should use.

They finally changed the home screen icons on 4.7 inch devices so they aren't hugging the top of the screen. It used to be that the distance from the top of the screen and the top row of icons was the same for 4.7 inch devices as for smaller ones even though the icons are spread wider on 4.7 phones. Now it looks natural.

Wait what? That little lack of space has annoyed me for the longest time. Screenshot? I'm wondering how Apple did it, not even sure if I believe you lol.

I have a screenshot and the difference from previous versions shown by a transparent overlay. Neither of them have had the icons affected by parallax, these are the default positions.

Ahh I see. I think it's just significant enough where badges won't ride up and go over the text in the status bar. The plus versions still have more space I think.

Couple of things I have noticed so far:
1. Battery life is a little worse but then again it is a beta.

2. Safari is reloading some tabs sometimes after a prolonged standby period which never happened before. Not sure if it is Safari related or just slightly worse multitasking on the beta.

LOVE this. I've always been annoyed by the uneven spacing. Can't believe I didn't notice...

Well, they do have to make larger changes which require larger releases. They can certainly spend more time baking them and making them bug-free, but at some point they still need to release those larger releases and likely they will still run into issues even then given the larger userbase and combinations of devices and so forth.
I don't agree. Larger releases are usually just a lot of smaller changes bundled together. Let's unbundle them. I wouldn't mind getting the News app a few months later if that means performance doesn't have to take a hit.

Hi everybody!

Does anybody find any difference in the way the 3D touch track-pad behaves from 9.2? Apple subtly changed the behave in 9.2 making it a little bit worse to activate.

Thanks!

Hi,
I have MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012).
After installing el Capitan my external track-pad disconnects all the time. Sometimes I have to reboot to regain the blue-tooth connection, other times pressing the on/off button suffices.
Any ideas??

You need to post this question in the El Capitan forum, not the iOS forum. Perhaps a mod will move it for you.

This morning I keep getting asked to join Apple Music, but my subscription is active. Just started this morning. Going to sign out and sign back in, see what happens.

My Siri has lost her voice. Siri understands what I say, and also shows a textual output that seems reasonable, however there is no voice output. If I select a different accent, Siri works again, but the accent I always used simply doesn't work anymore. What to do?

Seems like there are a lot of small bugs in this first beta of 9.3. Going to stay away for now, at least until beta 3 or 4.

Hiding stock apps now possible

Looking forward to a public beta release of this - if there will be one.

I saw an article you might all be interested in. With iOS 9.3, via the Apple Configurator 2.2 beta, you can hide stock apps. Not uninstall for now, but at least hide.

Not the easiest of solutions but at least it's heading in the right direction. Hopefully soon we will be able to hide or uninstall via the phone itself.

Here is the article - http://www.cultofmac.com/406594/ios...l&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

The are likely smaller changes like that, but there are also likely quite a few of them that depend on some newer APIs or underlying frameworks that might be smaller changes on their own but can't really be done without various other backend changes under the surface and thus can't be made until those are made. Then there's also the alignment of development teams as well. While some are working on the current version many people are already working on the next one and thus the work they are doing goes into that va the current version. That aspect of it can be shuffled a bit more, but also at the cost of resources and so forth.

One of the bigger things that likely affects it is the release of new phones and the need to have something newer on them when they are released as without it there's a fair amount of risk that the general consumer will find things stale and not feel excited enough about it all. Not a great thing to go off of, but something that unfortunately plays quite a bit of a role for Apple that has to deliver something new on both hardware and software sides to keep on generating interest and demand.

Anyone else noticed photos burning background activity? I've seen 4.4 hrs of background activity in the last 24 hours on my mini 4. 6s plus seems fine tho. I've gone down from full charge to 88% in 55 mins of minimal usage.
