I used the beta for couple days, worked very good but battery life was horrible, omnistat showed constant high cpu usage. Usually indexing after new install does hit the Cpu, but this was for couple days, phone was running hot. Had to roll back to 9.2, however this is where my issues started. Restored back to 9.2, did not restore my backup and built from clean. However after getting back to 9.2, couldn't activate my iMessage, FaceTime or wifi calling. Doubt its related but incase anyone has the same issue, FaceTime and iMessage took half a day and finally activated, wifi calling took some weird work around.
Goto settings->cellular->voice & data->select 3G then back to LTE->then go back and turn off cellular data and back on, after that wifi calling finally activated.

Did you go to the Battery pane to see what app was using the CPU so much? I'm curious when I see these posts but people don't mention checking the battery pane.

When I downloaded the Beta 1.1 OTA my Apple Music lost all the iCloud music. Reverted back to 9.3 and they appeared again.

Noticed a new bug today: On third party music player apps such as Picky and Cesium, music playback still stop when you turn off the screen or exit the app.

Doesn't happen on 9.2.

I'm using an iPhone 5S. I also tried resetting my phone to factory settings. But the problem is still there.
It's maybe a problem with ur device (it may accidentally fell down) or its just a problem with iOS 9.3. I depends on which model u are having, what is ur model no. on the back of the phone ?

on with apple support now, hard reset phone, hold down home button before logo appears, while holding down home button, connect to mac, choose to update software, if that doesn't work, (didn't work for me) repeat and choose to restore to a non beta backup

To revisit my post now that I've installed the 9.3 beta on a device, the Nightshift mode only warms the display colors. The slider should really be labeled "warm" and "warmer." The entire range of adjustment is warmer in hue than with the setting turned off.

Think of it this way. Nightshift's "default" setting is in the middle of the temperature slide. The slider is if you want it cooler or warmer from the default. Not cooler or warmer from normal non nightshift settings.

Sorry should've mentioned that too, mine was photos. Usually takes over night to sync all my photos over from iCloud photo library, but even after syncing kept using battery/cpu next day.

9.3 is going to be the best release yet. Everything is so much more fluid and at a full 60fps!

I've had zero issues with this beta and things are only looking up from here on out!

I suspect this isn't a bug but a deliberate API change.

Why would they deliberately break music playing apps?

Oddly this issue doesn't affect Spotify.

It's not so much deliberately breaking a specific app. It's making changes to or optimizing their own code, which then the older code in a 3rd party app no longer works.

If that is the case in this situation, then it's up to those music apps to make those changes and get it working again. (That's the whole point on developer betas)

But it also could just be a bug. Report it to Apple and those 3rd party developers.

I like how Spotlight is smooth again. Makes me actually want to use Spotlight.

Both iPad and iPhone feels like a new gen devices with this release, and no impact on battery life so far.

I've seen a bit of a hit on my iPhone 5s battery-wise but, for now, I'm going to chalk that up to indexing and general "new OS-ness". iPad Air 2 battery life has been fine. Anxiously waiting (well, waiting) for 4:48 pm to see NightShift kick in!

Anyone with a 6 Plus or 6s Plus, can you pull down spotlight and rotate your iPhone and tell me how many fps you get?

Choppy but seriously that's just being nitpicky!
It pulls down fine in landscape and portrait. So why does it matter if it is choppy during the orientation transition?

Everything about this beta is great except for the aforementioned Garmin compatibility being broken. I have to turn off my Bluetooth or my Vivosmart constantly disconnects/connects burning out the battery.

I hope this isn't an issue that has to be resolved with an update Fromm garmin because I'm running an older version of the software since they gave it a makeover and basically broke everything I liked about it.
