Woah, guys. Interesting little tidbit on Night Shift. There may be a Control Center toggle for it after all. This picture is in the iOS 9.3 preview page on Apple Canada's website. https://www.apple.com/ca/ios/preview/

I saw that on another blog... but didn't see it on the Apple website ... never thought about the Canadian version. :D

Still holding out hope for a customizable Control Center at some point soon.

App switcher is unusable on iPad more then the iPhone.A small swipe scrolls all the way to the end.Its too fast to interrupt in between
I've done multiple searches on this topic, specifically for 9.3 but have only found one or two people mentioning this. It's obvious that Apple is toying around with the speed of the app switcher across all devices, as you can very clearly tell the difference between every single beta release as well as the final updates since iOS 9 rolled out...but 9.3 specifically is just way way wayyyyy too fast on an air 2.

I sjust ubmit a feature request after thinking about how this could be improved. Suggested that an option be added to accessibility to allow the speed up/slow down of cards while scrolling left to right in the app switcher.

The original iOS 9 release for iPad Air 2 was risiculously slow, and now it's ridiculously fast - to the point where you literally have to very slowly move your finger to get to one specific app as the slightest touch sends the cards flying in either direction. I'm sure this will be ironed out eventually, but an option to set a comfortable scrolling speed would be a nice touch seeing how many people haven't been entirely satisfied with the official releases.

Has anyone tried the password protection on Notes? It's not working for me...
At this time the option only appears for notes under the iCloud or 'On my iPhone' folders, so if you're using GMail for example to sync notes - this feature will not work.

To password protect an individual note, create a new note under one of those two folders, and then hit the share sheet icon. Make sure you've already established a password under Settings>Notes.

Nobody else noticing that multitasking has taken a bit of a hit? Especially noticeable in Safari where tabs have to reload after waking up from a prolonged standby and so do some apps. Looks like ram management got a little more aggressive while the UI fluidity increased!

Not the most intuitive process. All that's missing is a dead chicken, a brown paper bag and some incense.

Wouldn't surprise me. Since we only have beta 1 it isn't the feature in its fullest form. 8.4 beta was the same with the redesigned music app. It had additions with nearly every beta build.

I bet we see the CC toggle in beta 2. Beta 1 to test the core of the feature to make sure it works all as intended without bugs. Then introduce the CC toggle in beta 2+ and see how that works, if it's all good or brings in bugs. That's usually the purpose of multiple builds. It's easier to test and find bugs if you test smaller portions of a feature at a time, so you can isolate what introduced any particular bug.

Where and how is it not working for you? I've been using it on a couple notes and it has been working as expected for me, but you have to keep in mind after you make a note password protected you'll only be able to view it on devices running iOS 9.3 and OS 10.11.4

Not sure whether is it only me,
But after unlocked a password protected Notes, the notes will be opened scrolled past few rows of the contents of the notes.
Anyone face the same issue too?
Using iPhone 6, 9.3 Beta 1.1

Smoother on my 6s+. Like someone else said, I think they may be addressing gui lag in different ways with this beta. My thought is they're going to be more device specific moving forward with how they address certain issues

New Beta today??

Betas are typically released on Monday or Tuesday. I'm sure there's been a Thursday beta release at some point in Apple's history, but it's extremely unlikely.

It boggles my mind that the ones clamoring for a new beta every week are the ones who complain when said beta release breaks something. It will be here when it gets here. Patience, young grasshopper.

Not sure you're understanding my post. Multitasking has nothing to do GUI lag unless more ram is allocated specifically for UI and less for caching apps sitting in the background.

Haven't seen this yet, but I can't seem to keep Home Sharing connected between my iP6 and MBA. Toggled settings, logged in & out across all the Home Sharing areas...no dice. I can play one or two songs before Home Sharing disappears entirely from the Music app...and I'm well within BT/WiFi range.

Yep...the note in question is maybe two pages long, and when I try to scroll to the top it simply rubber bands back down about 3-4 lines until you open the keyboard. Doesn't seem to reappear once you've opened the kb, unless you force close notes and repeat.

I was listening to Spotify and composing a text and the phone did a full reboot, nor respiring. Couldn't see from the logs what it was. No biggie its a beta after all.

I hate to remind you but this is a beta. There are things running in the background which wouldn't be running in a public version. Let me know if it's still happening when 9.3 is released to the public!!

not necessarily true, I recall my iPad not needing any update to go from final beta to the release version of 9.2
