I'm unable to register an iPad 2 (3G). After upgrading from 9.2.1 to 9.3b3 the device want's to register it by Apple. My WiFI connection is ok, an IP address is assigned to the iPad but it fails to register over the internet.

The message:

"It may take a few minutes to activate your iPad."

After a while followed by:

"Your iPad could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. etc. etc."

Even after removing the SIM card and/or upgrading via iTunes it keeps failing.

Does anyone recognise this?

(It can be repeated over and over again since 9.3b1)

Guys why am i missing some of the new quick action options? For example on settings, i do not get the quick option for wallpaper. I do get battery wifi and blue tooth, but thats it.

I also miss most of the quick action in app store and itunes store

iPhone 6s Plus landscape mode home screen 3d touch still lags really badly, like 2 fps, while portrait mode works at a smooth 60 fps

Used my iPhone for a day and this is my conclusion

1.Battery life seems improved in this build
2.Control Centre Stutter in Siri is still there.Mobile Data Apps stutter is still there.
3.The animations seem smoother a little bit.Facing little stutter here and there.Overall still not on the level of 8.4.1 but it's getting there

Does anyone have this issue in Apple Wallet? I have overlapping card numbers. It's just ugly more than anything.

[Please don't try it] Throwing your iPhone against a wall will break it. :D

Reverting to serious discussion: after updating, while using the phone (in the conventional, non-speaker way), Mute would activate spontaneously. Its possible that the screen was not dimming, and my cheek was doing this. Very annoying. Reporting the bug.

Option for wallpaper was removed in beta 2, in B3 there are only 3 options (those you said).
App Store and iTunes store still have their 3D options (at least for me) in this beta.

1: already known and in the wiki, the time isn't permanently gone. The bug is that it will take 2-10 seconds for the time to appear ONLY when you unlock to the Home Screen. You can force the time to appear sooner by launching an app.

2: never seen this happen personally.

3: no clue what you mean by this and the "black jacket lady".

4: it's not new to 9.3 beta 3 then if you're saying it's just like 9.2.1

5: probably not something new to 9.3 beta 3 either.

Ha ha, "black jacket lady" has been there since 9.2.1, I saw her standing there waiting for me to join to Apple Music, I couldn't play my own music, had to do a hard reset. Haven't seen her in these betas.

The wallpaper option was removed in beta 2.

Smooth sailing so far, although battery seems to have taken a slight hit compared to b2 on the 6s. All around improvements though! Getting there!

This has been running like a charm on my iPad Air 2. Considering g putting it on the iPhone for testing some of the features, especially wifi calling, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Is there anyway for me to back to 9.2.1 without doing a restore to get back ? Can I downgrade without losing anything on my phone ?

Beta 3 was fine for me until my 6s completely froze and became totally unresponsive. Hard shutdown was the only solution not even lock would shut the screen off.

My process for installing any new version of IOS is to let it sit for about 30-60 minutes after install (I think there is an indexing and optimization process that takes place), and then do a hard restart. On occasion, I have had freezes occur after an install, only I realize I forgot the reboot step. All is usually fine after I do so.

  1. Download the IPSW file for iOS 9.2.1 for your device
  2. Shutdown your iPhone.
  3. Plug it into your PC/Mac while holding the Home button
  4. Option+Update, if you're on Mac
  5. Select the downloaded IPSW and you should be good to go.
Note: Don't forget to backup your data first

I backed up my data before installed the update. But if I do this I can downgrade without losing anything on my phone without restoring ?

Does anyone else's display becomes unresponsive after triple tapping the home button for the accessibility shortcuts?

I have noticed this since iOS 9.3 Beta 2 and the display is completely unresponsive except that you can still play around with AssistiveTouch and hardware buttons still work. You can even bring up the slide to unlock screen but unfortunately, a hard reset is required to make the display responsive again.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and Guided Access, Zoom, and Invert Colors set as my accessibility shortcuts.

I done a DFU restore and the device was left while I was out (test device). However this issue happened a day after the beta was installed. the lockup occurred without ANYTHING installed on the device inc no iCloud account. Had a few "reset_timer" logs that I've sent to apple

*Possible new feature*
Just noticed in messages if a contact has DND enabled it shows the icon next to their name.

This is a very interesting feature but I have not been able to reproduce it. I asked a mate to set DND and sent him a message, I didn't saw the moon or an icon next to his name in the main messages app nor within the message itself (I even slide the message and only shows the hour it was sent).

I'm in beta 3 and he is in 9.2.1

Could you post an image please?
