Well, this build isn't the public release.
I know don't worry but I've seen some people saying it's ready, and although it's very good it's still not quite there.

Well, I'm not sure about that symmetry, it was 5 top and 4 bottom since almost 3 years (from iOS 7.0 to iOS 9.2.1)It was fine for you, but Apple likes symmetry. The balance of 5 top and 5 bottom all with equal spacing between the icons in the top and bottom rows and pretty much equal icon size.
Nope, it's been like that since iOS 9.0.Hey guys, I've just noticed something in Safari. iOS can now show additional "back" button on the right side of the status bar to the one on the left that's been there since iOS 9. Is this new? I haven't seen this before..
Sounds like different people have different experiences.I disagree. Every single problem I have reported has not been addressed. Even the small ones.
I reported 47 bugs/issue with images/videos/full explanation/system files. I am always so excited to look in my mailbox and i have 0 response. Apple didnt even answer and didnt listen. New Betas or New Final releases did NOT fix my reported bugs. This doesn't motivate me to report new issues. Because i know Apple didnt listen this report too. Like always do. This is not right. So, they won't listen; why they releases Public Betas?

:OIt's been out for almost 28 hours now.
It's okay, I understand that and I think it's a valid reason.*edit* I also want to point out just so I'm not called an apologist or "defending" Apple. I'm not saying "This is WHY they put it on the bottom" I'm mearly saying "This could be a likely reason as to why they chose to put it on the bottom"
Well, lucky you!! It's sad that you have to word it correctly for them to understand an issue. I have always provided everything they asked me for. I know for sure that I'm "wording it correctly".I disagree. Every single problem I have reported has been addressed. Even the small ones.
I've had this bug since 9.3 beta 1 on my mini 2, on and off. I've reported it every beta, hasn't been touched. Extremely annoying when I slide to unlock and it doesn't work. Sometimes several times in a row. However I don't know how to reliably reproduce it, it doesn't always happen. Haven't heard anybody else mention they're having the same issue until now.
I've had mixed luck with my bug reports up until now. Most have been ignored, but for some they've asked for stackshots or sysdiagnose, which I've provided of course. But there was one issue with 8.4.1 on my iPad (which is still present) where switching orientation while the iPad is unlocking with Touch ID will show a UI bug. I filed it, and they said it should be fixed with the official release of 9.0. It wasn't. So I told them about it and they just randomly closed my bug report and filed it as a duplicate. Pretty frustratingWell, lucky you!! It's sad that you have to word it correctly for them to understand an issue. I have always provide everything they asked me for. Found the bug! Once clicking on Nigh Shift in Control Center, unable to dismiss prompt window with home button. Need to lock and unlock device. Not always, because sometimes it's enabling inmediately.
Yeah, so they can most likely ignore it? Sounds like a great plan. You found "the" bug? Good for you. Now, go report it to Apple. They've been looking for it, too.
so is the battery life better on beta 5??? are is it the same as beta 4..
Yeah, so they can most likely ignore it? Sounds like a great plan.
Yeah like they ignored:Yeah, so they can most likely ignore it? Sounds like a great plan.
Almost all, if not all, of the issues you mentioned were issues that they themselves introduced in this beta cycle, or otherwise bugs that were materially affecting customers in a tangible way or were popularized, so they basically couldn't ignore them. Otherwise, I really don't think they care about all these little scattered UI bugs that I and others here have mentioned.Yeah like they ignored:
Makes you wonder why they even go to trouble releasing all these updates since they ignore the feedback and never fix anything.
- Apple Watch notifications are fixed.
- From/To overlap in DND and Night Shift schedule settings fixed.
- Contacts search with groups issue
- Apple pencil functionality restored
- ibooks not displaying pdf
- Status Bar clock bug fixed
- Tapping news articles in the Proactive page now works
- Does not re-lock after unlocking via Touch-ID
- iPad Air 2 doesn't go black for a second when swiping through fullscreen apps with multitasking gestures.
- Date & Time can no longer be set to anything earlier than Januray 1, 2001.
- verify iCloud ID after iCloud Restore is fixed
- error 53 issue
- and a LOT of other issues since iOS 9.0 came into existence.
Runs nice and smooth on my iPad Pro! Hopefully YouTube will update their app to support it quickly...its removed the ability to watch 1440p videos and save videos offline for some weird reason. Great beta though!
