I'm getting similar battery life than 9.2.1 and even 9.3 beta 5, I don't know if this is good, but I'm pretty happy with my battery life so far.

I'm noticing that my touch id on my 6s isn't working as good as before it's been failing alot now. Is that happening to anyone else?

Interesting seeing those with great battery life, while others are dropping way faster than usual. I've been dropping percentages with just the screen on, doing nothig, and with every battery saving option possible enabled. For me, b4 had outstanding battery life. B5 was worse, and now b6 I am seeing barely two hours of usage before a charge is needed. Five minutes of a YouTube video (or any streaming video) consumes almost 10%. If I keep the display on with background app refresh off, push off, location services off, etc etc, I'm still only seeing maybe two hours of usage. On b4 I was seeing upwards of 6 hours usage, which is the most I've ever personally seen on any iOS device/version. Will DFU and try a clean install since so many others are reporting outstanding battery life here. iP6s btw.

To the folks complaining about battery, what apps or activities seem to be causing the drain? iOS itself is not causing it so something else would be. Myself b6 seems the same as previous betas. Typical usage of phone, safari, app updates, email and iMessage mostly and seems to be getting around 1 hr per 10%. Of course that changes the further down the scale it goes but point being iOS 9.3 b6 has not caused anything different for me. So curious what activities is it not happy with? GPS/Maps? games? etc.

My biggest culprit is Safari. And I hardly us Safari!!! I have signed in and out of iCloud on my Mac as the last beta suggested that users do this (I guess due to iCloud syncing issues that may have occurred).

I'm aware that other apps now use the Safari framework in there own browsers, the only two apps that I use that utilise this AFAIK are Tweetbot and Airmail.

The phone is noticeably warmer to touch and the battery life is so atrocious I'm thinking of going back to the last beta. I really hope this doesn't turn into the GM...

No problems here. My 6S Plus opens so quickly that I hardly even see the lock screen... the only time it ever fails is right after I wash my hands... maybe a bit of moisture...

So far beta 6 works really great and finally Apple fixed the bug where the bottom row of the keyboard isn't shown first when using the alphabetic keyboard on lock screen and swiping to the right to unlock the phone.

Unfortunately quick reply is messed up on beta 6 as the keyboard space is just black (again when using alphabetic keyboard protection).

My Siri Suggestions on 9.2.1 Contacts just shows me First name, regardless on chossing short name option in settings.
I´m fine with this.

But, when I put emoji into contacts name, does not matter if to first or last name. It will show the first name and few letters of the last.

Is there any change in 9.3?

Dunno if you guys read about this speedup bug.
Go to settings and turn on assistive touch. Move the virtual button to the right lower corner of the display, and fire up spotlight search. When the keyboard coming up has moved the button you can turn assistive touch off again.

Now any app starts inmediatly. No 200ms delay :)-)

Kind of funny really - just shows the animations are badly coded/optimised in iOS.

Some go on far longer than necessary (longer than when they appear to have "finished"), which causes input delay.

It took me a while to get this to set but wow, what a difference it makes with the fast responsiveness! I hope Apple doesn't close this glitch in the next update!

Ok so here's a weird one.

Has anyone else's iPhone been turning off at random percentages on with this beta and also the previous one?

My percentage seems off and the drain isn't linear.

Here's where it gets weirder. My 6+ has turned off at 8,9,17 and now 60 odd percent.

Wait a few minutes and you'll be able to power it back on and use it for ages again.

I'm wondering whether it is the cold. At least three of those times, I have been using my phone for fairly long periods in cold weather. Like when I'm waiting for a train for example.

A few weeks ago, I was wild camping and left my phone in the tent pocket. It was 0C overnight and I woke up and it was dead, despite being on 20% or so. Then it turned back on.

I know the cold can adversely affect a battery but I've never experienced it happening like this, so frequently.

Can anyone advise?

I don't think, that this is in any way connected to a beta SW. It's only related to the battery and it's behavior in cold weather.

Does anyone know if Siri finally has a humorous response to "Call the TARDIS"? I will not rest until it is added.

Also, I'm very interested in using this WiFi calling thing. I don't have service on my phone (but the SIM still shows that I have Verizon and how many bars I have), so WiFi calling could help me out a lot.

As for wifi calling, you look in settings>phone for the option to turn it on?

I would try a settings>general>reset> reset all settings first. That seems to solve these kinds of issues without having to restore.

Try and turn off Safari option in iCloud settings. I bet its syncing bookmarks and such non-stop causing this usage.

Just when in moviebox app, someone called me and the phone goes off when on 27% of battery! Never had that, before beta 6 on iphone 6s!

So I got a response finally for one of the bugs I reported. The weird thing is they say they fixed it in the latest build which is 13E233. The current beta 6 build is 13E5231a. That looks to me like the GM build since it's short and missing the letter at the end. What do you guys think?

they removed 1 letter and the ''a'' on the end. so the build number is now looking like a final build number
[doublepost=1457639123][/doublepost]

i hope it's true :)
Except that it seems like a 5 was removed in addition to the 'a' and 1 was just moved up to a 3.
