Hi friends,

Has anyone else experienced the bug where music jumps/skips/lags when you: get a notification sound, wake the phone up, lock the phone? I haven't tested all circumstances as I'm now at work, but I was playing music through the headphone jack, it was a downloaded song from iCloud music library; as in it was not a matched song, it was an uploaded song. I will test matched/Apple Music songs and speakers. Have tried restarting and all, and have reported to Apple, just curious as to whether anyone else has the issue!

I don't know what it is about this build but Beta 5 was better on my devices.Something has gone completely wrong with my battery.I charged my phone 4 times today.

Also the OS seems to have become stutters again in General.
Actually my battery is way better with this beta than any previous 9.3 beta even on the Apple Watch it's better as well.

Battery seems worse than Beta 5 for me.

Last night I let the battery die and then charged the phone fully. Today's battery usage seems worse than usual, but not by a ton. Just did a hard restart.

iPhone 6s.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but figured I'd throw it out there.

I'm listening to my music through the Music app. I scroll to the bottom of the song list on the album I'm currently listening to and there's albums under "You may also like" that I'd like to preview.

I tap the play arrow on the album cover and it just sits there with a pause icon in the place of the play icon. No sound. I tap the album to go into the song list and tap a song for a preview and it just brings up the Apple Music screen.

Can we no longer preview music without an Apple Music sub?

Edit: I turned off Apple Music in settings and now that section isn't showing. Suppose it is strictly an Apple Music feature.

The phone will turn unresponsive and super laggy when clicking on "Profiles & Device Management" option in Settings Menu.

I was going to say I believe it's an Apple Music feature for subscribers only. As you've discovered in your edit.

I'm sure it's for another method of music discovery when using AM. If you're not paying for AM, that means you're probably only listening to your own library and discovery isn't exactly needed then.

At least if it is something actually intended to not work without a subscription, that's how I could see the reasoning behind it. Definitely a bug if not intended though. (Works fine on mine but I'm paying the $9.99 for AM)

Sounds like something else could be wrong. Perhaps delete the beta profile and re-install it. No lag or unresponsivness when tapping into Profiles for me.

Also; iPhone 6S plus, 2 hours of usage, I'm on 24%. Nothing at all has differed to any other day. Battery life = non-existent. Usually I get to about 11pm before dropping below 20%, it's only 3pm... And I've had it on low power since for 5 hours now

You need to go to the Apple Store and get that checked out pronto.

That's not normal in any way shape or form.

Apple Store will just tell him to restore to 9.2.1. They treat beta like jailbreaks in stores. IE won't offer much help because it's not release software.

However I don't think beta 6 is purely at fault either though. My iPhone 6 which is older and smaller than his 6s+ is currently at 6 hours 4 minutes Usage and 12 hours and 42 minutes Standby with 45% left. On beta 6.

I had some horrible battery on Sunday on Beta 5, so I decided to Reset All settings, that really didn't help until Beta 6 came out. Before upgrading to Beta 6 yesterday, I was burning through battery. Today after a full day of use - I'm a heavy voice user due to the nature of work I do and here is my stats so far for the day. Still at 53% battery:

They'll most likely see that he's running beta software and tell him to downgrade back to 9.2.1, or offer to do it for him.

Mentioned it before, but since the betas Youtube had been making my 6s a nice, convenient hand warmer while chewing through my battery faster than anything I’ve seen before. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit* Re-installing Youtube fixed it. All is well again.

Just a side note, since they started doing public betas they don't seem to care about the presence of a beta iOS.

So I was driving and this happened twice: after about 20 minutes of streaming music, Bluetooth would just turn itself off and back on on my iPhone. Just reported it. This happen to anyone else?
Happens to me as well. I have reported it in the 2 previous versions and this one as well.

Has there always been a noticeable animation when switching from the Emoji keyboard back to the QWERTY keyboard?

When switching from the Emoji keyboard in Beta 6, I now see the QWERTY keyboard pop up, then a subtle animation where the spacebar slides over and the button for voice dictation appears.

In landscape?
Yes, 60 fps 3D Touch menu pop-up in Landscape. I did a fresh DFU install and set it up as new.

I am getting weird 4G/LTE reception indicator dots bug. The phone is showing 4 dots in places where there were 2. At my office, it showed 5 dots in place of 1. Then I put my 6S Plus in Airplane mode and back on. Then it showed 1 dot like it always is.

Hard to tell if my cellular operator Vodafone is fiddling with their newly launched LTE network or it's just this Beta 6 acting weirdly.

Finally, the CC and NC stutters have been fixed completely. (6 and 6S models at least) Our bitching on MacRumors forums worked.

Hmm...interesting. It happened in other 9.3 betas as well? Only just started happening to me with beta 6.

Yeah, it does look like Control Center and Notification Center are now a solid, smooth 60fps, in particular on the lock screen where it wouldn't be as smooth as the home screen for some reason. So nice :D

The bug that disables springboard animations is working in this beta and makes iOS feel so much faster. Double click on the home button and select your next app the effect is instantaneous!

Complaining works. It only took Apple the majority of the year to get CC back to iOS 8.4 speed lol.
[doublepost=1457501260][/doublepost]I've given up trying to explain my phone's Bluetooth behavior when used in conjunction with my Tune2air module in my car.

Imagine pausing music in the Music app or really any music or video app. Within 5 seconds the music starts right back up. The only reliable way to pause music is to use my cars audio controls.

There is definitely something weird going on the battery in this beta. This has not happened on any of the previous ones. Just dropped right down to 38%. I turned off the phone and before turning it back on, plugged it into my Mac and it work (of course) but with 46%...that's not right. I had zero issues with battery before this beta.

start checking app by app, i had similar usage today after i was searching the app store for a free app that gives push notifications for oil prices, i found price alerts. that app, ran the battery into the ground, through the core of the planet & out the other end..absolutely horrible even when only getting 1 push every couple hours or longer. background app refresh for it was off, force quitting the app even still did nothing. moment its deleted battery back to normal & the phone less warm.

horrible..QA testing at its finest on that app..

I have a problem with control center.
The time of current played song isn't the same in control center and music app.
Sometimes if I stop playing in music app and restart it from control center, music starts playing from an other time.
