iOS 9.3 Beta 6 Bug Fixes, Improvements, and Changes.

Has pressing the weather in NC on iPad always opened weather channel website? I feel I can remember pressing it before and it did nothing.

Edit: just tested 9.2.1 on iPad. Nothing happens when pressing weather. So this is new. Could have been added on beta 1 though.

Yes, but sometimes it wouldn't work. I would keep pushing and pushing.. it would do nothing. So its one of those lost links, I think a lot of people haven't bothered with that.

Real Racing 3 Works.

Can confirm that Real Racing 3 isn't working on my iPhone 6. Opens to EA logo & then crashes to home screen

Installed on my 6s, immediately booted RR3 and we are good to go. Got in without a crash. Doesn't mean a race won't crash, but the app does load for me.

ad931, try uninstalling and reinstalling. As long as you regularly backed up the game with EAs cloud sync, your data won't be lost.

Solid on the iPhone 6s.

Ever so slightly smoother and faster everywhere, especially right after a reboot with the animations.

The issue with Assistive Touch where it is breaking the animations in apps has not been fixed, however.

I can't be asked to multi quote everyone here talking about Real Racing 3 but what response do you expect from EA? They are probably wondering why you expect a game like this to work whilst running a beta. Granted, it has worked in previous beta's but there's obviously something in the code it doesn't like.

If Real Racing is so important to you, don't run a beta?

Yeah my guess they had a iCloud setting update which prompts the hello screen.

It's possible some code changed in beta 5 and now 6 that would need to be addressed by EA once 9.3 is released. They can't release a fix onto the App Store if that code is specific to 9.3 until it's officially released. (I recall someone saying in the last beta thread that EA was aware of it.)

Not saying it's no chance that it is iOS that is the issue. Just saying the above is a possibility.

It was changed to a star on the far left beside the track number/name instead of the three bars to the left of the time in beta 3 I think.

iPad 4 does not support Metal, while iPhone 6s does. This might be the key difference here.

I need to run a beta. Real Racing is not that important for me, and I have a device with 9.2.1 to play if I really want. I’m just sharing my experiences with others

Real Racing 3 is a trash game loaded with IAPs anyway so people should just play better racing games like Need For Speed: Most Wanted or something while it is fixed.
