How could they do they if they have no idea when it's going to be released? Apple doesn't tell the blogs when new betas are going to be released.

Blogs are connected with insiders and have people that provide them info. They also communicate with the PR office for info. That's how it works. Have you read blog articles before?

Yes, but my point is that this hasn't been the case in awhile. Find me the last time a blog correctly predicted a beta release.

Apple is a company with a very predictable release schedule. Occasionally they deviate from it, but very, very rarely.
Not that rarely at all if you look at various charts in relation to releases. There are more common days and even more common times, but it's all a ways away from being "very", let alone "very, very" anything. Certainly nothing factual about something being predictable even if it is often is the case--and certainly hasn't been in this particular case.

I'm thinking they're not going to post until the release is official, because of the massive amount of egg still left on their faces from yesterday.

Why do they have egg on their face? Just because people were hoping it would be released yesterday didn't mean that Apple had to release it then?

iOS 9 beta 2, iOS 9 Beta, iOS 8.3? Want me to keep going? Hence the reason when you go to a blog site it says: "sources over at (blank) tell us that iOS X will be launched today at 1 PM EST. etc. Need I go on?

Who predicted beta 2 and 8.3? Find me the blogs.

Anyone could've predicted beta 1...that came out at WWDC.

I think he meant the blogs and press that actually reported that it was released yesterday.

Followed the whole thread yesterday as well, figured I'd join in the fun.
Fingers crossed for today, but hopes aren't up like they were 24 hours ago.
