While performance seems to be fine, it just doesn't feel the same as 8.4 and 8.3...like it's a half step behind. Something about the performance just doesn't feel as smooth / responsive.

It feels much smoother for me on my 6 Plus than beta 3. The 6 Plus was getting slow and buggy over the last few days. Obviously the battery will take a day or so before we can report on it.

Hmm maybe I'll keep hanging out on 8.4. I noticed this with the last beta and I really value performance and smoothness and the "feel" so I had to go back to 8.4. I'm pretty sure it will be cleaned up by time the official release comes around but it's a little alarming that it's still a little slower and choppy when they brag about the graphics being on metal and things should be smoother and faster than before! But it is beta! Lots of moving parts! :)

Not even going to wait a day or two for indexing and stuff to level out? I hardly doubt you would see full performance just 1-2 hours in.

Not really sure what my device has to index. I don't have much going on. It's been the same with every beta and I've waited each time

Indexing or not, but it usually takes at least a charge cycle or at least two to get at least a somewhat decent idea of some sort of average performance (more on the battery side of things, but in some sense even overall).

There definitely seems to be a 1 second delay after tapping things. (Especially opening apps)
I knew there was something I couldn't quite put my finger on. Its almost like the phone is afraid to open an app in case it crashes. General performance seems like an improvement otherwise though.

Proactive is more consistent. No Search bar overlapping at the top, many more results being shown in the UK (Apple Music results, weather, and news results actually open).

Still not entirely sure why news results are there though. Does anyone know if they're even supposed to learn what you look at? I've no concern for this ashley madison leak or the labour party's failings. New Witcher 3 patch though? GIVE ME THE GOOD NEWS!

Just as bad as beta 3 for me... Emojis killing apps, hot, high CPU usage... I must have a bad base software...

The iPhone icon seems to be tweaked slightly giving it a black screen.
