The feedback app doesn't get removed in GM though :p

You have to remove the profile to remove feedback app. But even then one would probably not be using the feedback app much on a release version anyways, so why bother. Leave it on so you can get 9.1 beta when that starts up.
Ok... Trying a make a joke is hard work with you, haha. Noted though

It's alright for some, but my battery is taking a killing since updating yesterday. It was amazing on beta 4, but for some reason music is doing lots of stuff in the background now. I'm also back to the furnace of beta 1 & 2 as well. My phone is suddenly hot enough to cook a steak on.

I've updated my to iOS 9 Beta 5 and I've notice my iPhone 6 Plus been getting hot is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Yes - with almost everything uninstalled and turned off, the phone is still going through the battery like crazy and is super hot. Never had that kind of problem before.

I had updated to PB3 and ever since my batter is draining like leaky faucet. I had never backed up my phone before and for once, I backed up my phone while on PB3 and went thru the process of recovery/reset to factory setting.

Factory setting installed ios8.4 and to my surprise I lost all my contacts and apps. Since I tried to restore from the earlier back up, itunes will not allow me as the version I have on my phone is old.

So downloaded the profile and updated to PB3 and restored the phone from backup. Everything is working and now I am not seeing the battery draining that fast.

Mine is doing the same. Reinstalled iOS 8.4 and then iOS 9 Beta 5 and the restored form back up and still draining like crazy.

Would like to do a clean install and add App individually and not restore from back up but if I do that I will loose all my Activity Rings/Data that I have built up! :(

Battery life hasn't been too terrible on my iPhone 6. But it's only been a full day since launch, so maybe it'll get better.

I would consider that very comparable to a fresh install of 8.4. Give it a day or two and you should see about 6 hours usage when you hit 20%. It all depends on your usage. I'm mostly using safari and constantly loading pages with my brightness below 50% and I'm usually able to squeak out 7 hours of total (screen on) usage time with my 6 on iOS 8. I'm hoping that number will climb to 8 hours when the final iOS 9 drops. :) if you are playing 3d games expect your phone to get real warm and hit about 3-5 total usage from it. Light stuff like safari and texting and email and calls you should average 7 hours with the brightness below 50%. That's what I've been getting pretty consistently since I've had the 6. I wonder if they will put an option on the low power mode to turn brightness down automatically and keep it under a certain threshold? The display is the biggest battery drainer of course. :)

One thing that's helped me in the past when using betas is to Reset All Settings, especially if battery life is still pretty bad after a day or two. For whatever reason, most of my issues and battery woes disappear after a reset. I'm sure I'll do that after iOS 9 is released to the public.

Battery life isn't bad on my 6+ but it's definitely not great either. That could partially be due to the fact that I've had this phone since launch day, so my battery probably doesn't charge near 100% design capacity.

Alien Blue is my top offender at 35% battery usage.

No complaints on my iPhone 6 with PB3. Way better than what I was getting with 8.4. I would be lucky to hit 4-5 hours with 8.4 and I'm on track for 8 with a beta. Haven't used power save mode either.

You practically nailed it lol. I'm pretty content with this kind of battery life, but I would be thrilled to get even more.

Pretty happy with DP5 battery on my 6

View attachment 573902

Pretty happy? What does it take to make you very happy :) ? If the battery gauge is anything like linear then that would extend to about 4 days standby with 14 hours usage before the phone shuts down. That's crazy-good battery life for a 6 isn't it?

Just to be clear, is that on regular power settings (where Apple claims that iOS 9 will add up to 1 hour of extra life) or have you had it on the new iOS 9 low power mode for any or all of the time (where Apple claims up to 3 hours extra battery life)?

No, just regular power settings

I've always had about 2,5-3 days Standby time (except for iOS 9 Beta 1 of course) on my 6 - so nothing special there.

Usage on the other hand seems exceptional though - will report how much I end up with when the battery is fully drained.

Do not forget that iOS 8 was a mess until 8.1, and it still improved a lot with 8.2 and 8.3. That means that the real iOS 9 may arrive in October or November.

I have an iPhone 5s and yes it gets hot.

Same here with my 5s. In standby there seems to be no difference to beta 4, but as soon as a (any) app is opened the thing starts to heat up and drain.

There are however significant differences between apps: For example, Notes produces rather moderate heat (but still more than “usual”), while Sygic heats up like crazy and drains almost 1% per minute. (And this without navigating; just browsing the map, setting favorites etc.)

I don't like PB3. For my 5S, it's the worst. Performance wise, I haven't noticed much difference between the three. But this time the barber is draining at an alarming rate!

I normally unplug my iPhone at around 7.00, and not plug it back in until 23.00 or midnight, and still have between 20-30% left. Immediately after installing PB3, I noticed battery drain and warmer device. Yesterday, I went from 100% to 20% in
4-5 hours, just listening to music, and sporadically checking on Facebook). I just turned into a wall hugger!
