How is the Performance on iPad Air 2?
Last I tried Beta 3 and it was bad.. everything was crashing so went back to 8.4.

When iPhone 6 is plugged into Mac and you try to use it then it doesn't charge, it still slowly discharges on this beta...

Animations in some places feel more fluid, but quite often (when opening/closing apps for eg) it looks sluggish like it's busy doing something important behind the scenes.

DP5 feels a little faster than DP4, but there is definitely something running in the background that is keeping my 5s very warm and killing the battery.

I am experiencing the same thing myself. I typically leave my phone charging overnight and I sometimes wake up to it getting very hot in the middle of the night.

It also has a tendency to get very warm after some time of data usage. Battery life also drains faster these few days. I can only hope that it's just the OS doing some indexing and optimisations and we see things improve after a few days.

I had a similar issue on my 6 until I did what some posters here suggested, which was to reset all settings. Since then, it's been working great.

Attempting to add someone to favorites on the phone app isn't working. When I switch to the number pad after trying to add someone to favorites, I get this:

My iPhone 6 always get extremely hot since pb3 and battery consumption is catastrophic!
Any solutions that helped?
I'm having bad overheating issues on my iPhone 6 Plus and even my iPad Air, which until this beta has been fine.

I find that putting the phone in Low Power Mode helps. The only issue is that the phone disables Low Power Mode when charging gets to a certain point, so I can wake up in the morning and the phone's very hot.

Serious issues when synchronising iPhone 6+ on latest Beta with iTunes. Mostly when transferring Music. This also ends up crashing Music app for me.
Anyone else having same issues?

I had serious battery consumption with PB3 on my iphone6. So I had to reset to 8.4 and then back to PB3. After getting the PB3, I changed the settings for location services and now my battery consumption is far better.

Would you please explain it EXACTLY what you've done and where I could find the "switches"
Settings --> Privacy --> Location Services -- Changed all of the values to either never or While Using and Share my Location Off/ System Services /Location based alerts off, Location based iAds off, frequent locations off, diagnostic and usage off, popular near me off.

That and the reset to 8.4 and later 9PB3 greatly improved the performance.

I am not a heavy user and on 8.2 I used to by without charging (dropping to 20%) every 3.5 days. So car in two days the batter went down to 59% from full charge. Safe to say my battery performance improved or matched with what is on 8.2

Resetting the settings as suggested earlier did improve my 5s battery life a lot.

No usage stats but I was able to go a full day yesterday, up until lunchtime today (did not plug it in last night, and used it until 2am; woke up at 9am and used it until noon)

Prior to this, an hour of useage and I'd be at 55-60%; another hour at ~30%, and dead in another hour.

Phone still gets hot for me but nothing like prior to the settings reset - it used to bake before!

Thanks a lot! Done this now.
Before I reinstall iOS 9 Public Beta 3 by just "over install". Find ipsw online. ;)
And then delete all settings. But no improvement.

Yes thank you for this tip

I encourage everyone experiencing battery issues to try this. It may or may not help, but it's worked well for me so far.
