I did several times and unfortunately I got a your phone is already jailbroken, there's no need to jailbreak type of message.

Wait...what happens if I do a reset "Erase All Content and Settings" in the settings tab?

Do not do that. It will render your phone useless until you restore and then you would be stuck on iOS 9.1.

I may be asking the unanswerable but does anyone know or have a guess when the jailbreak for 9.1 will come out?

Came from Android and feel the need to jailbreak. Must customize...

What version of Pangu9 are you using?

I believe one of the more recent ones allowed you to press the jailbreak button again even though the device is detected as jailbroken

No one knows. It might be a few days, few weeks, few months, etc

I'm not sure what to do next. I'm running the latest version and keep getting this

Looks like iTunes wants me to upgrade to 9.1 which I'm not gonna do. They still signing any older 9.0 versions?

What happens when you click "re-jailbreak"?

It goes through the entire process of turning off the "Find My iPhone", turning on Airplane mode, and turning off the passcode. It goes through the motions of saving everything and has me open the Pangu app. Once I do that, I get the no need to jailbreak message.

Hi, I've just got my first iPhone a few days ago and I would like to jailbreak if it's safe to do so to add a few features not supported by default. I have iPhone 6S on iOS 9.0. I wanted to check if jailbreaking is safe security wise as you can have your fingerprints on there, emails, banking apps and ApplePay, etc.

Also, will jailbreaking affect 3D touch or any standard features of the iphone etc?

I can say that there is always a risk of having all that info on your device, jailbreak or not. I haven't had any issues with "3d touch".

Thanks, is the main risk with a jailbreak malware? I think in general Apple iOS un jailbroken is quite secure from what I've heard. If you jailbreak and stay away from piracy etc can you stay just as safe as being an un Jailbroken user?

How much more, at risk is your data and security if you are jailbroken? There's alot to lose these days with the info and data we have on our devices (Banking, ApplePay, Pics, emails, passwords) I'm just trying to get a general view so I know the risks etc before going a head with jailbreaking or not.

Staying away from piracy and shady sources/tweaks/etc will allow you to be as safe as you can be

However, as jailbreaking gives root access, a jailbroken device will always have the potential to be more at risk than a non-jailbroken device

Many, if not all, security sensitive apps/sites will send/receive/store/etc data with some sort of encryption
