I posted this in the main beta thread, but I guess it’s more of a “little thing”. In Safari, if you swipe the address bar up, it recedes off the screen along with the bottom menu bar for a more full screen experience. And it stays locked into place, so it won’t reappear when you scroll up.

Yeah that's a nice one when you want to focus on the content of the page. Azure Portal works nicely by reducing it to 75% (which sticks every time you come back) on a 10.5 iPad and swiping the bar up for a little more space.

Keyboard scrolling in Safari on the iPad is now super smooth and scrolls at a good speed.

How do I enable this new keyboard? I can’t find info on it anywhere.

I really hope it’s not restricted to the 2018 11” and 12.9” iPad Pros...

I dunno about the 11" but I think the 12.9" keyboard has always looked like that. I recall having the same layout on 2nd gen 12.9 iOS 10.

This seems to be new: indicating that the forecast temps are for the duration of the night rather than the full day temp

Not showing up on my 11”

Nor mine.
As far as I understand it, this is something that will need support from the app.

I like the top row with the numbers and symbols and was hoping that keyboard would leap onto the 10.5 and 11” iPads but we can only hope!

For me, I’ve been using the folio keyboard since I bought the 11” so i have most of the added features available anyway. But would be a nice addition.

So far the only issue I have is my 12.9” iPad loses the 25% brightness that occurs when over heating but it does this too frequently and with the iPad only being warm not hot or used for long periods. I guess the beta takes a toll on the CPU and GPU, though I’ve yet to find the same issue occur on my 11”

Kallum.

Guys, I just installed the iPad IOS 13 Public Beta on my iPad Air 2. Straight away, I noticed that the app icon size has reduced massively. Is this normal? Or a glitch. Pic attached below

WOW! Way too small for me. Any way of enlarging them? I looked through settings but couldn't find anything. Wifey gonna hate it as she has bad eye sight as it is :D

I don’t believe so. This is Apple’s effort to get more icons per screen, a long desired feature for many. File a bug request (suggestion) in Feedback asking for variable sizing. Not unreasonable...

Came across a new "bug?" ...
Installed on an IPP 12.9 G2. Upon installing the IPP name was changed by the install to "iPad". Noticed this when I was looking to Airdrop some stuff. Changed the name back to what I had previously. Only when I did the name change did I get the alert "Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iMessage on a new iPad. ..."
This was 2 days after the original install and I did not get the alert when I originally installed iPad OS.

Strange.

Go to settings, display and brightness, view, and choose zoomed view. That will make them larger
Not seeing the "view" setting. The only thing similar would be "Text Size". I don't think that's what you mean. Can you post screenshot?

Another for the G2 IPP 12.9 .... (yes it is the only "my item" on iPadOS) ;)

Dock: Right side - on awaken, the middle of three icons disappears. Doesn't appear to matter what app either.

The other strange piece of this; the Settings app appears to be stuck on the right side. It will change positions and can be removed however when the IPP awakens next time, "it's baaa-aaaaaaack" - to quote.
