Not trying hard enough if all of the other banks manage to not end up crashing with new beta releases. I’ve been with First Direct for 6 years and it’s the same every year.
Crashes after login for me on my iPad Pro M1.Any news on Fineco? Is it working in beta 6?
I’ll avoid this beta as well 😁 thanks!Crashes after login for me on my iPad Pro M1.
The Swiss PostFinance app needs to be set up again after each beta, as it thinks it's on a new phone each time.
Have you rebooted since installing the latest beta? Mine worked until I rebooted, after which I had to delete and re-install the app, then go through the setup again.Didn't happen on mine though (iPhone 13 Pro Max).

Luckily, I found my lovely yellow card-reader.
Just tested MS Teams in Stage Manager mode again while on a videocall. Seems to work fine now, even with other apps side by side, which wasn’t possible before without the camera going dark. This is nice!MS Teams still crashes when scrolling or stable now ? That's what's holding me from upgrading to 16!
VR Banking Classic (version 22.29) and VR Banking Classic HD (v. 22.29) have been updated this week and do work now on iPadOS latest Beta while VR Banking App (v. 3.8.1) still crashes.Broken apps with Beta 4 (public Beta 2):
VR Bank (Germany)
VR Secure Go Plus (Germany)
They are totally unusable, crash to home screen when one tries to open them.
That’s a bit harsh. They should be on it by now. Nearly every other bank are weeks ahead of them. And the way they lock you out of online too if the app isn’t working - that’s not great.several angry tweets @ First Direct on Twitter from people who’ve gone 16 beta & now distressed they now can’t bank by app (or online either, without one-time code gen).
no sympathy tbh, and certainly don’t blame the bank for not updating their app yet onto work-in-progress OS - eejits.
many more people would be rightly much more angry if the wider service was affected, or security was compromised in some way, but I guess it’s all about them.
yeah, maybe. tweets are angry at the bank though - IMO people need to better understand what 'beta' and 'secondary device' mean, and/or take some responsibility too. That’s a bit harsh. I’d give them a 100% pass if I could log in online without the app. Just looked on twitter. Customers are being really horrible. I don’t think I like twitter!yeah, maybe. tweets are angry at the bank though - IMO people need to better understand what 'beta' and 'secondary device' mean, and/or take some responsibility too.
It's not had an update yet, so if it's getting the update that the Malaysia one has just had, then it might just work.Is the UK HSBC app working yet?
Totally. May have to switch banks next year.Still nothing regarding First Direct, a tad disappointing tbh
HSBC app got update in Malaysia yesterday and working fine on ios 16
