Can anyone report if MS Teams is still crashing on iPhone OS Beta 2?
It’s working for me on Beta 2, but that probably doesn’t mean much for you, because it never crashed for me on the first iOS 16 beta (iPhone 13 mini) or iPadOS 16 beta (iPad Pro 11/2018). I use it every day on both devices for work, lots of Team voice calls on the iPhone, Team video calls on the iPad, and chatting on both.

Slack/Slack EMM still doesn’t work for workspaces (enterprise grid?) where jailbreak detection is enabled in beta 2.

Normal workspaces continue to work fine as with beta 1.

Can anyone test or speak for either the SimpliSafe or Discover (Bank/Credit) apps? I don’t see either on the list (also searched the thread), and are the ones I’d like to verify before deciding to jump on the beta train…

Thanks, this is what I wanted to know, guess I'll continue in iOS 15.5

unfortunate I know. I was considering going back, but ultimately my iPhone & iPad are personal devices - business use is a bonus (we have MDM).

Additionally I work in open source, so much of my regular slack discussion is in open communities which work fine. It’s only some organisational things / proprietary tech that needs the enterprise channels.

I can still access via web ui if needed when I’m remote (as now for example, out for a walk….) so I’ll stick with it.

I’m signed up with slack for testflight too..

My understanding is that they were saying there was both a iOS bug, as well as a change they needed to do, but I don’t know the details. I’d kinda assumed it might just be an image signature thing

Not going back now though, and overall this beta 2 is working really well albeit saying that less than a day 1. Beta 1 was ok, but beta 2 is much closer to iOS 15 in stability, smoothness IMO.

In my case, it is a personal owned device as well, but it allows me so much flexibility as opposed to having to be in front of my computer all the time (100% of my Slack discussion is through the internal workspace). I did consider the option of living without it but at the end I think I need a functioning Slack more than the beta.

Hope it gets solved soon, but doesn't look like it is a priority for the Slack team.

That one on row 1012?

BBC iPlayer isn’t working for me with beta 2 (not sure if it worked in beta 1). This happens on 13 pm & ipad pro 11 3rd gen.

In both cases the app crashes before playing video - on the ipad straight after logo. On the phone, as soon as a video (live tv) is selected

Me too. HSBC need to update their app for it to work. It will never just start working in future betas.
There has been occasions on an x.0 beta, where it would work after a new beta came out. iOS 9 and 11/12 from memory. Also, there’s been times HSBS have done something in an update that inadvertently makes it work in the beta. More often than not, though, it’s HSBC that needs to update once the new devkit updates are accepted. They’re obviously still using the old API that other banking apps moved away from (o forget which it was).

Tl:dr - unlikely to work until RC comes out, but small chance it might happen sooner.

I believe the app checks for a valid version of iOS, which is why it crashes.

Yea, thought it might be that but it uses, but couldn’t remember if it was definitely that.
Not sure why HSBC is one of only a few banking apps that don't work on iOS betas, and why they won't address it. I switched to Monzo thankfully and their app (including TestFlight build) works perfectly fine. The older banks are lagging behind.
