Battery's being drained like nothing, siri doesn't even work, volume buttons don't even work, lag across the whole os. Has Apple really maxed out?

I mean each update/ios just gets worse performance wise.

Doing dfu restore and will see.

Sounds like something isn't right with your install.

My SE is great as well, the battery is what I expect it, and so far its been very stable.

I used a new 128GB SE for the last week on iOS 11. I never tried it on iOS 10 (received it the day iOS 11 launched and immediately upgraded via iTunes and restored my 6S backup), but the performance on iOS 11 was amazing to me. Very fast, battery easily lasted me all day without a charge, no issues. Easily beats the 6S on either 10.3.3 or 11.0.

Hope restore fixes it.

I'm sorry some of you are having problems with the SE and iOS 11. Mine seems fast and responsive. Actually, iOS 11 seems faster on my SE than on my first generation 12 inch iPad Pro (mainly because the dock appearing and disappearing seems "weird").

I did not do an over the air update on either device. I downloaded the images from Apple's servers and updated through iTunes.

My SE is running fine. The first day or so I was a bit concerned about battery life. But now I think battery is no different then iOS 10. I’ve encountered some glitches but nothing I’d attribute to the SE.

Hopefully a restore fixes your issue.

I want to amend my observation of iOS11 on my iPhone SE. I'm noticing some apps being less then responsive.

For instance, Weatherbug seems to stall, and sit there regardless of what I tap. I've rebooted, killed the app and tried other tricks. Maybe it's on Weatherbug's side, but I am noticing other performance slowdowns.

So far the battery performance has been good, that hasn't gone down hill

On 11.0.1 the battery standby for me even with Airplane mode and Low Power Mode turned on is tragic. When I don't put the phone down for periods more than a few hours I can usually get 8-9 hours instead of 8.5-10 on 10.3.3. Performance is basically perfect though, much better than 11.0. It's a decent experience, I'm just really annoyed by the standby issues.

perhaps uninstall/reinstall weatherbug? my SE is killing it, running fast, smooth. and battery life seems about the same as ever (altho i haven't really put that to the test).

DFU restore did not improve much. It is what it is, upgrading to 8 eventually anyway.

Still useable but far from enjoying it.

After upgrading the SE to the latest iOS11, it start freezing and noting really function\works anymore... even when i've tried to reset the settings nothing changed... still acting like a useless brick.

And on top of that the battery not holding one day since iOS11...

PS, i know i should try and do factory reset, but thats pure pain in the a... to start from zero again, since im guessing my last backup is corrupted since iOS11.

I know this won't help much other than let you know it's not all SE's so maybe there is an easy fix for you, I have upgraded my wife's SE to 11.0, 11.0.1, 11.0.2, and a couple of days ago 11.0.3, she uses her phone regularly and has reported no issues whatsoever. If it was me I would try (1) hard reset (doesn't lose any data) (2) I would do an iTunes backup so as to preserve my passwords and other secure data, factory reset the phone, setup and restore the iTunes backup. That doesn't take very long to do. Good luck!
