That should settle it. The sides (and the power button) are where the colours are most apparent. If there's no hint of blue there its's not blue.
It depends on the angle and your indoor conditions. My green iPad Air literally looks like a light shade of grey 80 % of the time unless I am really trying. In fact, sometimes the green looks like blue.

Those "colours" are definitely over the top subtle

edit: Just saw the picture! this is definitely silver! so never mind. Should be able to tell by looking up your serial number online. Mine says iPad Air blablabala (Green)

Yeah, and I’ve come from an iPad Pro 10.5 with supposedly better display, more speakers and better camera, none of which I made much use of or have missed whatsoever since I got my Air 4 last week.

I’m absolutely delighted with it, it’s so much nicer to use.
Interesting. I’ve got the same IPP 10.5, and I want a bigger screen. Does that .5” really make a difference? I was thinking IPP 12.9 or just sit tight with what I have.

Any place but here or there....
I am thinking about an iPad Air in green now too. I enjoy my Rose Gold a lot and am glad I went with that, but I keep staring at the green Air and iPhone 12.

If the Apple Silicon Macs come in colors, I may have a minor problem.?

I was playing Pubg Mobile on my iPad Air 3 without any lag. Yesterday I bought the new iPad Air 4 and was expecting a much better performance but somehow even on lower graphic settings than on my iPad Air 3 there was a lag during the gameplay. At first I thought there is something wrong with my iPad and tried the game on my friends iPad Air 4 but the experience was the same. I really don't understand how this game is so bad on a new device with much better hardware.

Perhaps the problem is with the game itself and has little to do with an iPad?

The screen size, and indeed the physical size, isn’t much different between them to be honest. The smaller bezels of the Air 4 do make it *seem* to actually *be* more screen though, if that makes sense!

Loving the new Air 4! I think it’s the perfect iPad for me. Battery life seems to be a bit better over the Pro, which makes sense with the A14 being more efficient and the lower refresh rate of the display. (Not that I’ve had an issue with the battery life of any of my iPads.) AirPlay seems quicker and less glitchy, too.

i also had the iPad Pro 10.5 before and to be honest I don’t notice much of a size difference when it comes to the screen but I appreciate getting rid of the huge bezel. My favorite iPad to date.

i went iPad 2 > iPad 3 (worst iPad ever) > iPad Air 2 > iPad Pro 10.5 > iPad Air 4.

Regarding the colors. This is my GREEN iPad Air:

Loving my Air 4, such a fantastic device to use. Only gripe so far is that my missus galaxy s20 akg usb c earphones don't work on it for some reason. Been using my AirPods but they are annoying to use as keep falling out my ears.

So, last night, I decided it was time to upgrade my now 6 years old iPad Air 2 for the new iPad Air in blue and wow! I have say the first impressions are very good. It’s quick, the sound is decent enough and direct transfer worked like a dream. It wasn’t until I fired up this beauty that I realised just how slow my old one was! But it’s served me well! Only minor gripe is that the best option for earphones is most likely wireless ones especially handy for when you’re possibly charging and using at the same time! Luckily for me, I have AirPods! Other than that, very good indeed!

Okay, so I finally received mine today. After two full weeks and preordered it on the 15th. The people that are saying they are taking their new Airs back or returning them. I think you are all ridiculous and you’re giving up a perfect device. To the people that had issues straight out of the box, I’m sorry and I wish you could experience this tablet already. The speakers don’t sound amazing but they are definitely better than they used to be. Touch ID works flawlessly. The display is the best LCD I’ve ever seen in my life, and the bezels aren’t that much larger. The people complaining about the bezels being too large must have insanely small hands. If anyone has any questions about it and are still waiting. I’ll be happy to reply.
Well, compared to the IPP 11” 2020, the bezels are wider.

I am finding this iPad Air to be “cool, it’s a fun little device”
out of
1-10
1 being: “it’s there I guess”
&
10 being “Most amazing device that gets the job done and then some.”

But really I wish this had Face ID, ProMotion, quad speakers... and an A12X processor instead of the A14. I want that extra oomph, the cores, and beefier GPU.
It’s nice though as it’s a good sneak peak into how fast the A14 in the iPhone 12 Pro will be.
I dunno maybe I was hoping the iPad would be a tad more. I am pretty sure I’m going to keep it but I am bugged because it has a little light bleed (odd because I’ve not seen light bleed since before Liquid Retina. I will contact Apple about maybe doing a swap, but... I hate that lottery game too and who knows, 2020’s been the bad QC year so I’ll just end up with something worse.
anyone else’s iPad Pro or air 4 or Xr and 11 have light bleed???

*****Is anyone else having the same issue or are experiencing light bleed? Is it normal even with Liquid Retina to have light bleed?
THEN I might just keep this guy instead of swapping it.
OCD is annoying!!!

Plenty of good cheap Airpod ear grips on Amazon. I hated the AirPods until I started using those.

Thanks herrpod, i have got those earskinz from amazon and they add a lot of grip but you have to keep putting them on and off each time. Sorry i sound like such a whiner lol. But don't worry I'm going get a usbc headphone adaptor ASAP to use with my plethora of headphones.

Anyone else found the viewing angles on their Air a bit narrow? On a white background like a web page, as soon as you look at it from any angle bar straight on there’s a pinky tinge to the screen. Mainly visible when the iPad is in landscape and you tilt up or down. Moving it left or right it doesn’t seem to exhibit this.
