Mine bounces about 4 to 5 inches on my 32" monitor, pauses for about 2 seconds and then snaps back. Really hard to use so I use the trackpad, which for my uses is much slower. Fix this and simultaneous audio and I'd be a happy camper.
Oh wow, that’s quite a bit different. Which model of iPad? Could it be a software glitch? I hope it gets fixed for you. 🙂👍🏻

On a 27" 4K monitor with M5 13", I see a bounce but amount is highly dependent on the speed of the scroll - a very fast scroll produces a larger bounce. I don't see a pause of any significance.

Yeah, same here. It bounces like a quarter or a half inch at the bottom of the page on my 27” desktop monitor, and that’s the most I’ve been able to get it to do, and it’s very fast, I don’t have a 2 second pause. 👍🏻

With a very fast scroll with the wheel (Logi MX Master 3) I can easily generate at least a 6-7" bounce. Hit it really fast and it bounce half the screen height.

Maybe my cheap mouse can’t scroll as fast. I actually am wondering if that may be the reason for the difference. 👍🏻. Or I reduced scrolling speed in Settings, which I believe I do recall tweaking with that a long time ago. 👍🏻

It definitely seems to depend on how fast you are scrolling. A very slow scroll gives little bounce. A fast scroll really exaggerates it.

What's the Logitech keyboard case like? On sale here for $170 v $499 for apples.
Don't need a keyboard all the time so may be better, track pad seems bigger too?

The Magic Keyboard for the 13” is supposed to be $350 new from Apple. And cheaper used. But yeah, the Logitech is cheaper, and I’ve heard very positive feedback about it. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on it directly, as I’ve never used it. But I believe there are some in this thread who use it and have had favorable experiences with it. 👍🏻.

I know that’s of limited use for you since you’re probably wanting answers from people with direct experience with it, but figured it may help. I don’t have personal experience, but have heard great things about it from many who do if that makes any sense. 🙂👍🏻

I tried the Logitech keyboard case and it doesn't work well on a lap if that is important. Works great on a desk but I do use mine a fair amount on my lap so I returned it and got the Apple MKB.

I've had one but switched to the MKB. I like the smaller footprint of the MKB, that the iPad is slightly raised and brought forward, and the USB-C charging is great to have, freeing up the iPad's port.

Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense to me. The kickstand setup works okay for some people on the lap, but I’ve seen many who don’t like it for “lapability”. 👍🏻. Also, for me, the extra charging port is well worth it, as I have used it to charge my iPad while I use a USB-C thumb drive or microSD card adapter in the iPad’s native port. 👍🏻. And with the new Magic Keyboard Case, you get the laptop-class aluminum palm rest and glass trackpad. 👍🏻

I have 11" and MKB is bit small for track pad and KB, will give the Logitech a try anyway, hard to justify 3 x the price for my minimal use with keyboard, the case and stand looks handy will use with it 90% of the time at home, mainly for when away I want a keyboard.
The Logitech is only $40 more than the apple folio case ATM.

Definitely worth a try as much is subjective.

For me, by far the biggest thing that annoys me about using my iPad as a laptop replacement is using a mouse while surfing the web. The back/forward buttons on my Logitech mouse are not supported which is annoying but I can live with shortcut keys or just clicking the back button. By far the big annoyance is when you scroll to the bottom or top of a web page with the mouse and there is the looooonnnnnggg exaggerated bounce effect that can literally take seconds to complete depending on how fast you are scrolling with the wheel. The bounce using the trackpad on my MKB is very short and on my Mac is non-existent. I REALLY wish there was a setting to turn this effect off.
Consider using an Apple trackpad instead.

Love the Logitech case for the price, keyboard has a bit of give typing v apples but wont be writing essays on it lol, looks more like a laptop though, keys light up too. Trackpad is bigger so helps.
The case and stand alone is really good with the adjustments and bit of protection.
Nice feel to it too.
Will do the job can buy apple care now and still have 100 bucks left over :)
