Yeah. You know a few things cropped up with this.

......

All in all. The 3G one is the one I want for pure simplicity and ease of use.

I understand that:) Hey, it's the reason I switched to Apple in the first place. I'm just incredibily cheap (or so I'd like to believe LOL), and I could probably get even more from the $30 data I'm already paying for if I use it with my iPad than paying an extra $30 per month for the iPad 3G. But don't take it as me knocking your position or decision or anything, I just wanted to understand where you were coming from and I certainly do understand.:)

"Almost ready" can mean anything. A Google tablet won't make it through a ramp-up into production without an announcement. If it's 3G, then there will be an FCC submission first. You won't see a launch only a month after an announcement. The best strategy for Google would be to leak some info early to slow down the iPad adoption, build anticipation, and make it seem more imminent than it is.

Yea, some good points, but with many sites saying Google tablet release "imminent" I would think sooner rather than later. I don't expect it tommorow or anything but in a month or so would seem possible. I guess we will find out eventually, it's not a big deal really I have the iPad to ease the wait, the wait for iPad with no other similiar device on the market was horrible! LOL

I'll buy one if it's cool. I absolutely love my iPad.

Yea, I love mine too! I just wish I could do more with it, curious to see if the Google tablet makes Hulu and Pogo possible that would be huge for me both are my #1 timekillers on the Internet. If they don't work then I will probably be happier with the iPad instead of Android because it has apps that serve a similiar purpose. LOL Regardless I love these types of gadgets!

No remorse here. Despite what I feel are some limitations (inability to upload pics to a forum, cant add attchments in email, etc) due to the closed o.s., I really think the iPad is very cool device, and I think that most of the limitations will probably be addressed by future apps, and maybe even a future update to the iPad.

The ONLY thing i have some second thoughts about is the wifi only vs 3G thing, not really for connection issues but im thinking in terms if apps that may utilize the gps sensor I the 3g version.

I got torched all weekend with no Wi-Fi access. That's all it took for me to *absolutely* only want the 3G model moving forward.

One train ride, or a few hours in a non free wi-fi zone, etc....That's what it seems to take to push some of us squarely over to the "3G only please" club.

I took mine back for a refund

Played with it for a week. It's a cool device but I prefer my iPhone as it's hand holdable without tiring my arms out. The iPad gets heavy after a little while. If I want big I have a real computer with a 21" monitor on my desk. And in the car it's useless while driving whereas the iPhone isn't

I'm looking more at the upcoming iPhone 4 as the reported features include a screen doubled resolution and the same processor as the iPad.

Wifi works great on my iPad as well. Haven't had the opportunity to use the 3G yet, but getting ready to go on vacation, and movie streaming will put it to good use.

The one thing that is a detriment of the ipad is shopping. Usually, when I'm watching TV or something, I'm also surfing looking at stuff, and you find yourself buying more than if I were locked down on the desktop for only a few hours a day.

Reliability has been great. Games are good, but I'm starting to wonder why there hasn't been more of a flood of them lately...maybe not enough programming time for new games? Battery life is excellent, and the streaming movies through AirHD is fantastic. Had I known about the streaming before, I may have went with a smaller size, but bigger is always better.

Wife is getting one to replace her Macbook. She is primarily a consumer of email, surfing, and buying on the internet, so its a perfect fit.

Absolutely NO remorse here. I find myself on it more than on my iMac or my iPhone. Finding more thin gs to love every day.

Just a simple yay or nay as to whether you would purchase your Ipad again. After a couple weeks playing with it, I would.
