Hey, i ve bought recently an iPad Mini 5 and i can compare with my previous iPad that i ve owned lately

First of of all, when i unboxed it, it looks so tiny, after using bigger iPad since a while
The advantages are numerous:

- Lightest iPad ever, you can easily hold in your hands without suffering after a while

- Small form factor also means better ergonomic

For watching video content, its not an huge deal breaker, its big enough to be comfortable
I mostly use my Mini 5 for Youtube, watching movies and Molotov

For reading is about same

The only drawback that i ve find its about web browing
In my opinion, web browing is much more comfortable on bigger iPad such as my iPad 6th gen

About specs, several months ago, i also bought a Mini 4, unfortunately, iOS 11 reduced its performance by lot
Fluidity is gone, you may notice some lags in the interface
Mini 5 is another story, its a pure beast, faster than a rocket
Even the Pro Motion isnt needed here, you wont notice anything laggy
If i had to compare, see the Mini 5 not as secondary iPad but as a pocket book, you can read it anywhere, will fit into you pocket/bag, portability and ergonomic aspect are the key here
Despite of some drawbacks (web browsing, Apple only updated soc and added Pencil compatibility)
My Mini 5 will become as my main iPad

In my case, i use iPad as secondary device, i have 15 inches laptop for workstation, web browsing and gaming
I think its a great device for who loves small form factor iPad

That pretty much mirrors where I'm at...except upgrading to iOS 12 on my Mini 4 is nearly as smooth as it was on iOS 10.x so I'm sticking with the Mini 4 for a bit longer.

The main reason why i left Mini 4 was about soc
It couldn't handle H265
Otherwise i agree too, iOS 12 has boosted my iPhone SE as well
Mini 4 is still enjoyable with iOS 12
Mini 5 is actually literally a semi upgrade from Mini 4 with Pencil compatibility and one of latest Apple soc
I am also very happy about battery life, i got 10 hours of use (screen on time with mostly web browsing, molotov, youtube and watching latest GoT episodes^^)
Gaming doesn't affect the battery life at all
Battery life is pretty solid, maybe sightly worse than bigger iPad but i aint so sure

Moreover, iPad mini has a low resolution screen than other apple products,. But has the least impressive screen than apple’s other devices.

This is simply not correct. The Mini's resolution is higher than any other iPad. It's higher than most iPhones, too. Only the Plus iPhones (401 ppi) and the X/Xs OLED displays (458 ppi) exceed the Mini.

The iPad mini is not good to buy at all, because the screen is small and typing on the smaller screen is not quite as comfy. This iPad is very slow in using it gets stuck.
In landscape mode, the longer and thicker top and bottom bezel come in handy, it offers more of a grip while watching videos.it has very small size that even you can hold it in one hand and touch the screen with the thumb ,therefore I did not like this size.

IPad mini camera is not clear, I did not like its picture quality and video .i do not think it worth the money, it is good to buy a phone rather than buying this iPad mini.
Alot of misreading there
You cannot claim to buy a phone instead of this iPad Mini 5
Phone is phone, tablet is tablet, two distinguish category of product
The screen is small, therefore the overall size is smaller aswell
People who would rather buying iPad Mini, it aint the same for bigger iPad
I own both Mini 5 and iPad 6th gen, both have pros and cons
Bigger iPad means bigger screen but also makes it much more heavier to hold with hands
Its up to you whether you give an edge to small screen but more portability or bigger comfortable screen but more heavyweight one
You got also wrong about definition, iPad Mini 5 has actually one of the highest pixel density among all iPad
iPad Mini looks like a pocket book
You can carry it anywhere, it would fit into your pocket/bag
The only downside to the latest Mini: its rather like a sightly minor upgrade
If Apple had balls to release an iPad Pro Mini, it would be an huge success
Price doesnt matter to me, please Apple next year, make iPad Mini great again: iPad Mini Pro :apple:

Been using mine for three weeks now and even though I use it less than my Air 3 on a daily basis, I'm quite happy with it. It's definitely my "me time" iPad. It's a bummer I have to reconnect the Pencil each time I want to use it with the mini, though (most of the time I use it with the Air). I'll end up having to get a dedicated Pencil or other similar device. :D

The resolution of the mini should match the one of the 9.7” models exactly. You are referring to the amount of pixels per inch / pixel density but that’s a different metric than resolution.

I have an iPad mini 4 64GB LTE which I bought back in 2016 and I’m still holding up before jumping to the mini 5. I would rule out the bigger iPads due to my preference for this form factor. But my mini 4 is still doing very well!
