I looked and its all cases with features I'm trying to avoid so as not lose the device's best attributes. I'm starting to think naked is best for this.
sounds like you want thin/minimal...the thinnest is a smartcover and skin on the back...
I went to order this for my mini and they wanted 22 dollars shipping for two day, 88 dollars for overnight. The ground shipping is cheaper at 9 dollars but its a rip off. I'm not sure I'll buy from them given the exorbitant shipping fees
wait for the Macally off Amazon - same layout with a better speaker funnel for better sound - soon and prime shipping for about 12-15 bucks...

I found the smartfit mini smoke color for less money, so with shipping it cost the same as the what Joy Factory was charging before shipping.

Looking for thin, lightweight back cover
That looks nice. Does anyone know if this adds much bulk and/or weight? I am returning specks fit folio for that very reason. Looked at Griffin's thin folio but may just end up getting a thin, light back cover.

I'll join in, as despite having read all 11 or so pages I didn't exactly find what I'm looking for. That is a as thin as possible leather or synthetic leather folio clip in case with smooth front and back. no latches or handles or grips or anything. Frontcover folding in a stand would be nice, but is not a must. Oh and it should have the sleep/wake-function.
Anyone any idea?
If not I guess I have to go gelaskin-smartcover with my mini. I kinda like the idea. not so much, that the corners aren't covered with the gelaskin.
